Let me explain myself to all of the people out there that missed my point.  I don't like violence.  I don't like thugs.  I give respect to any and everyone that deserves it.  No matter what their job is.  I have witnessed good cops and bad cops.  And as I said before I work with cops.  So I don't judge all of them the same.  But I know regardless of what anyone did, once the police life was not in danger and the suspects (not only these boys but anyone) is in handcuffs why beat on people.  I looked and looked at that video and I did not see any officer life in harms way.   There has to be someone out there that thinks because of the aggressive force the police used, these guys are now going to benefit from it.  So who did they really hurt?  Even if they are found guilty in court, the crime that they committed is not enough to lock them up for life.  So when they get out, they will have a good settlement waiting for them.  Also, lets try to think with common sense here.  We all know some good people.   You all can't tell me you can't name at least one person that might have been in the wrong place at the wrong time and that person might have be hurt because of someone elses actions.  What if someone you all know who is really nice get beaten by police officers because the police did not take the time to listen or follow proper procedures.  You won't hate all police but you will hate the ones that hurted your love one.  If you say anything different you are lying.  See I think the problem with me is this, I am too real.  What happens to others could happen to me, I am human.  People have no feelings for others until they have to go through it too.  See it is real easy for us to say Fox29 should be a shame of themselves for showing the video.  But any of those boys could have been your, brother, father, son or nephew. And all you know is when he left the house he was fine.  Now he has been locked up and beaten even sometimes dead.  Wouldn't you want answers?  I know I would.  It's called once again being HUMAN.

these men were involved in a shooting ... they fled ... they are a flee risk ... they was subdued so they couldn't flee again. ..and i wouldn't grant them a cent if i was on the jury. If it was one of your family that they shot, you'd be the first in line with a bat. I have NO sympathy what so ever for these bastards.

You know it is people like you that is still the problem. Once again as I told several people, we are still only hearing one side of the story and I don't take police words as gold. And once again, I didn't say I wouldn't be mad if it was one of my family members that got shot or beaten, I will be, just just like you. And once again, everyone knows if you are standing on a drug corner you are selling drugs on a drug corner. What make those guys any better than the accused shooters? Did you even hear on the news or was you in space when the police said they think the shooting was over the murder of their friend. So those guys could have been murderers also. And there is one thing for sure, the court will only have a police officer's word. Guys from the street don't tell on each other, so whose to say they will even show up for court. Especially if they did something wrong themselves. Those young boys got physical proof on their bodies and on tape. Just to let you know I have had a very close family member murdered and I did what a smart person would do, let the law work for me. I am not risking my life like those police officers did over bums. Now do you get the message. Think about it if it was your sweet little boy on the ground getting beaten. You will lose all respect for cops. And If you say you won't then you are a f***king liar.

You don't get it ...I'M NOT THE PROBLEM! I didn't shoot into a crowd of people... I didn't run to avoid arrest ... I didn't risk the lives of even MORE people by driving like a nut to escape capture. ... and trust me, if my son was involved in an incident like this, the beating he would get from the cops would be far less than the one he'd get from me when i got a hold of him. What they should do is fence the whole neighborhood in and let you BLEEPs kill each other off. Then you can't blame anyone but yourselves. ... and trust me, i hear you ... i feel for you ... because of your brothers you need to prove yourself before you're accepted by whitey ... is it right? hell no, but that's the way it is. Just as your community has distrusts, ours does. How do you fix it? the answer really is quite simple ... I'd love to discuss this with you but this isn't the place ... maybe we can exchange emails ... or better yet .. phone numbers .... peace

No you still don't get what I am saying. What I am saying is it is very easy for people to guys like this needed the kind of beatings they got from police. I was just wondering how they can say that so easily when the same could happen to you or yours. And you really what to know what I always said about these young people with guns male or female, send them to Iraq so they can do all the shootings they want. Whether you realize it or not, our neighborhoods are already fenced off because the shootings are taking place around this whole city. And please don't feel for me. I don't have to prove myself to anybody to feel accepted. I do not have a police record. I am a good person and well like among my white, black, spanish, etc. community and coworkers. And I am not getting into the race thing here. This story has nothing to do about that. There was black and white cops beating those boys a**. And one more thing my son whon't have to worry about me getting my hands on him because I won't want to have anything to do with him for going out and committing crimes. I raised my kids betther than that. And they know NEVER to call me if they do.

LJ69 one more thing. I am not upset with you. You are intitled to your opionion like I am. I never said that these boys was right, if they did commit this crime. What I am saying is what gives the police the right to be the judge and jury and decide to beat these kids. I thought that is what we had a justice system for. I don't know where you live but even if you thought you lived better than I, then do your reseach. Some of the better neighborhoods have meth labs, murder, teen crackheads, etc in them too. What I really want is for the crime to stop so my family or myself don't become a number. All of us honest, law following hard working people have to step out of our doors everyday to go somewhere and something could happen to us. I do feel we need capitol punishment in this state. Maybe people will start learning then. But for right now police as well as these criminals out here need to know justice takes place inside a building not on the streets.

ok, if these men were sitting in a jail cell, and a group of cops said, hey, let's drag these boys out if their cells and beat the BLEEP out of them ... that would be taking the law into their own hands. This happened during a pursuit ... a capture. Could of it been handled differently, hindsight says yes. ...and it was you who said you get pulled over 3 times a week and have to end up proving you are not a thug. I believe you get along well with your co-workers...because they have become to know you ... but initially, they probably was reserved. .... and yes, every city has crime .... but not to the extent that harlem does. I just saw that 2 more children was shot ... and the neighbors are afraid to come forward and tell the police what they know ... they said they have to live there.... do you see a pattern here? Watch the news each eve ... if not for the black crime ... there would be no news ... or just happy news ... I'm exaggerating of course ... but do you think the 3 major channels are racial profiling their stories? ... or is the majority of crime caused by blacks? be careful how you answer i know the stats.

One I never said I get pulled over 3 times a week. I have been driving since I was 16 and now I am 40. I was stopped 2 times in all those years. Two, I have had this same conversation on my job some like some don't oh well. And you should always be a little reserved with meeting people. I just watched the same on the 10:00 and 11:00 news. Oh I do watch the news everyday. And I don't have to be careful to say what I know. I know there are more blacks killing each other. Just like I personally feel more whites commit murder/suicide. And what make you think I am black? Because I feel what happen on the news is unfair. And like I said this has nothing to do with race. Black and white cops were out there. Did you see the news tonight when Fox29 showed a new part of the video? If not, you need to see it and let me know what you think. Also, please if you respond to me again, leave race out. This is another big problem in the WORLD that I don't care to get on because it will really make this situation worst. Race probably will play a part if it was all white cops beating on black men but it wasn't so its not important.

I stand corrected .. I'm in several blogs and it was someone else who made the statement. ..and I haven't seen the new video so I can't comment. ..and I agree, i don't believe the beatings were race motivated ... but it's going to be hard to avoid that accusation.

Is this world coming to an end? We agree again and I accept your correction. The new clip of the video is not on Fox29 site yet. But when you see it, let me know if you think this last action was called for. Good nite for now.

Hello LJ69. I don't know whether or not you live in Philly if you do, did you read today's paper. One of the three men that got shot that night said he did not see a gold Mercury and he do not know the three men that was being accused of shooting them. As a matter of fact he said him and his three friends were on their way to the chinese store. Also the mother of three boys murdered friend, said the boys was at her house that night paying their respects to her. And it was only the three of them not four. The people in that neighborhood heard the gunshoots when they ranged out. The boys decided to leave when they heard the shoots. Like I said there are two sides to every story.
