Freed from Gitmo

In another blow to the criminal enterprise known as the "Reign of Error of Dick and Dumb", a Federal judge ordered the release of 5 "terrorists" (NOT)  held illegally in Gitmo, stating the evidence linking the 5 to Al Qaeda was "held on a thin reed". The lads have been illegally held since 2001. 8 years of sitting in prison on trumpted up charges is yet another example of the hideous inhumanity practiced by this modern day :"gestapo" of Gonzalez, Bush and Cheney.



No wonder  Michael McCaskey collapsed during a speech last night....he may realize that his name is now in the pot of criminals to (hopefully) face charges in the world court for crimes against humanity.



Can we hope that justice will prevail and the forces behind this dark period in our history will pay for their crimes?

Omar Khadr and Maher Arar are some great examples how well this system has been working.. Arar is also almost 12 million dollars richer. wow if I got treated like BLEEP then given almost 12 million wow look out. Thats security at work isn't it? . get them to hate us and give them millions. That Omar was 14 or something when he was sent to gitmo. Now it's going to be years and years and millions and millions of dollars for rehab thats already in the planning.

I can see few of you, if any, have been in a firefight...well, it's hard to tell the good guys from the bad...it's not TV! Also, the muslims are very faith-based; hard to break...you can look at any prison or retention facility worldwide...and find things you feel are injustices. Being comfortable in this country doesn't allow you the benefit of seeing it for real...Like it or not, GITMO and the intelligence derived from it has kept our soil safe. Besides, who says war is fair? Were they fair when they toppled the twin towers? Think Richard Reid was about to be fair? Everyone hates the dirty side of military and police actions...until they're own little bubble's breached....I'll be the first to say that I'm against wrongful incarceration; however, when you capture 200 hundred of them, isolated in the mountains, half have weapons the others are standing next to them....well, I guess the unarmed guys could've been Dominoe's delivery boys..with absolutely no knowledge of what's going on...my bad!

Or maybe they were not with a bunch of bad guys and were not doing anything wrong. Maybe they just got smart with someone who had no problem with ruining their lives. It's kind of hard to tell because everything is a danged secret. Give them a fair trial in a reasonable amount of time and if they are found not guilty send them home. War or no war, locking people up without a good reason and torturing people is not okay.

This is all BS, thats why I believe in 1 Shot, 1 Kill, JUSTICE SERVERED and its CHEAP too.
They can't step into court and testify against you either... If your going to put our troops out there to be SHOT at, somebody better be ready to die.. Cause if I get you in my sights you H I S T O R Y ...... time for your 70 virgins or what ever they are to get...

true, Northton, they could've been a bunch of guys just hanging around.....but these guys were SHOOTING at us! With REAL bullets! Also, another problem is finding them a home...no countries, even the ones we took them from, don't want them back...
I always wondered how they arrived at that 70 virgin number...I know it's in the Koran...but why 70...? Why not 10 or 100?
