Ok, so, can we whine a little more about an upgrade made to a FREE site that no one twists our arm to blog on? 

If you are still using IE7 and don't want to change to Firefox or go back to IE6, then deal with it and stop whining.  If you have switched to Firefox and are still having issues, I'm sorry for you and hopefully it will be over soon.

Upgrades to any site, much less one this size, take some time.  Before and after the launch.  They hardly ever go smoothly, and there are usually some glitches to contend with.  I'm sure the powers that be at Fox are working as hard as they can to fix the issues.

I say Thank you, Fox, for giving us a place to play, argue, cuss (sort of) and discuss.

Firefox is the bomb. IE sucks big hot dogs. LOL

Ummm think it'd be alright if maybe we still could gripe about how bright the dang pages are now? I'm taking up donations for eye transplants as it is after the dungeon masters pics. Now this...Whewwwwww

I know it's bright, but I would imagine they're addressing it. At least they weren't down like most sites are when making a major upgrade like this

Nah, i put my kids to bed and now it's all quiet here :) Thought i'd see what the night people do around here LOL

It sucks when a site closes completely. i have some bills i pay online and sometimes they will shut down for the entire weekend for maintenance. seems like they could afford more maintenance if they were open to take some money.

Upgrades always suck...we have major one's each year and our system has to be down for over 24 hours sometimes, sometimes more...and this is healthcare so it is 100 times worse...

Funny thing is I know how to fix it and I still stay on my IE7...LOL. If people would use Firefox in the meantime it sure would stop he headaches. Its a free download...

You can have both IE and Firefox on the same computer so when this upgrade and the glitches are fixed, you can just remove Firefox if ya wanted to:)

my IE kept freezing up so MM talked me into switching. I'm glad she did. it's great for spelling challenged people :)

I run IE and Fox both...IE7 mostly only because it came with the comp, though, I hate it. I use them both at the same time, too, when I need to. I never have any problems, except IE is slow as hell.

TM I work in computers and I am so damn stubborn I still stay on IE even thought I know it is the worst browser EVER...LOL. Thats why I have both though....

Fox will fix it...Problem is IE7 has a problem with a lot of different applications so this doesn't surprise me in the least. I am sure they are doing what they can:)

But the white can go anytime...LOL.

Ya know, a lot of it could've been avoided by TESTING THE SITE before uploading it to the FTP. But I'm just picky that way about the websites I run.

Oh and IE SUX ASS. All vers. It's slow, it's buggy as hell, and too many ppl want to write shits for IE that will screw your computer up.
Firefox is smaller, faster (a lot), has a tabs options, and so much more you can add to it. Not to mention a nifty spellchecker.

KMA Nance, ya whiny azz...LOL...I agree, IE sux all the way around, but 7 has got to be the worst. I love all the options I have with FF, the add-ons are the bomb...LOL

I'd go back to an oldass ver of Netcrap before I would run IE again. It kills me that I gotta use IE to register with GSN..
