I wrote a post a while back that i felt honored to meet a Packer Hall of Famer.  Back on  the night of the Packers Dallas game I had met Bob Jeter in the parking lot and gave him directions to get out of Green Bay and back on the freeway without any hassle and on his way torward home.  I shook his hand, told him what an honor it was to meet him and we both went our separate ways.

Mr. Jeter left this earth this week of an apparant cardicac arrest.

I just want to extend my sincerest sympathies and prayers to Rob Jeter (UW-Wisconsin men's Bakstetball coach and Bob's son) and the entire Jeter family on their loss.

Bob was a legend, one that will never be forgotten and will always be in the hearts of die hard Packer fans.  May he rest in peace with the Lord.

I know Thanksgiving isnt even here yet, but i thought it would be cool to have a blog where we could all exchange Christmas Cookie recipes.  So if you have a family favorite receipe or one that represents your ethnic heritage feel free to share it here with others.

Here is one of my personal favorites from childhood:

Rosettes

2 eggs
1 tablespoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine eggs, sugar, and salt; beat well. Add remaining ingredients; beat until smooth. Heat rosette iron in deep, hot oil (350 to 375 F) for two minutes. Drain excess oil from iron; dip in batter to 1/4 inch from top of iron, then immediately into hot oil. Fry rosette until golden, 10 to 30 seconds. Lift out; tip upside down to drain. With fork, push rosette off iron onto rack placed over paper towels. Reheat iron 1 minute; make next rosette. If you have two rosette irons, reheat one while using the other. Stir batter from time to time as you will get some oil in it. Sprinkle rosettes with confectioner's sugar.

I keep getting a call from an automated system claiming to be TCF Financial Fraud services, wanting me to verify recent activity on my Visa Card.  Problem is, they reference 4 digits on a card that does not belong to my husband or myself.

The number is 1-877-585-6486, they want me to enter my Visa Number I DONT THINK SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a fraudelant call, they are phishing for personal information if you get a call HANG UP

So at 1/2 time of the Packers game on Sunday they had a whole array of former Packers alumni including members of the Famous Ice Bowl team.  It was pretty amazing to see so many Packer greats all in one place.

At the end of 1/2 time my best friend and I were walking out of Lambeau, she wasn't feeling all that great when I hear over my shoulder how do I get out of this parking lot?  I walk back and low and behold who is it?  None other than Mr Bob Jeter member of the famous Ice Bowl team.  I graciously gave him directions to get out of Lambeau and on the freeway as quickly as possible,  shook his hand and told him what an honor it was to meet him,  he said to me I am Bob Jeter I said I know exactly who you are Mr. Jeter and again what an honor it is.

So among all the drunken idiots getting arrested and out of control at the game on Sunday I had one major highlight and the was meeting and shaking the hand of an NFL great!!!!

I hope my directions paid off Mr. Jeter and you got out of Green Bay safely!!!

We are putting out Harley up for sale this weekend,  after 2 years of struggle emotionally not to let it go it has come time.  My husband's back condition is worsening and we have no choice but to sell our beloved baby.  Anyone have any ideas on great places to advertise in Milwaukee besides Craigslist?  I refuse to put an ad in the Urinal/Sentinel don't want to give them my hard earned cash.

Please any and all ideas are welcome!!!
