A  WARM  "THANK YOU"  TO  MY COLLEAGUES  FOR  MAKING
WOOLLYBEAR  36  SUCH  A  GREAT  SUCESS!

THE  ATTENDANCE  WAS - MOST  LIKELY-  IN  EXCESS OF
100,000.

VERMILION  HAS  ABOUT  11,000  RESIDENTS  AND OUR
EVENT  INCREASED  THAT  BY  10  FOLD  FOR  8
HOURS.

I'M  SURE  THE  FOX  8  VIEWERS  HAD  A  GREAT  TIME
PAYING  TRIBUTE  TO  THE  LEGENDARY  WEATHER  WORM.

THE  CITY  OF  VERMILION  TRULY  APPRECIATES  YOU
AS  WELL.  THEIR  ECONOMY  RECEIVED  A  MUCH-NEEDED
BOOST.

Hi Dick! I loved the event this year, and had a great time. I have been going for many years, and God willing will continue to go. It's such a fun event. I went with my husband and he loves it too. I love that small town feel, the people are so nice. You get to see and meet Fox 8 personalities, the parade is out of this world!! I love to see the animals and kids dressed up. I too am an animal lover. The weather was beautiful! There's nothing like the Wollybear Fest, and I can't wait till next year!! God Bless!

Thank you Dick and the City of vermillion for inviting us to be a part of the Woolybear festival this year. This was the first time we have ever been to the festival and we hope to be a part of it for many years to come. On behalf of the animals at Wild Adventures Wildlife Education we would also like to thank the many wonderful people that stopped by our booth to see the exotic animals and hopefully walked away with the feeling they have learned a little about wildlife. Thank you again for a wonderful day

DICK GODDARD PLEASE PUT THE 216-881-0880 WEATHER LINE BACK PLEASE THAT WAS A GOOD WAY TO KNOW THE WEATHER....I CALLED IT ALL THE TIME....I WAS SURPRISED IT DIDNT WORK 4 ME 1 DAY I CALLED 2 KNOW HOW THE WEATHER CONDITIONS.

I agree nilde! I miss that weather line. Come on Dick, there are a lot of us who want that weather number back! Is there anything you can do?

I have been a meteorologist since my Air Force days in the 1950's. I have a BFA from Kent State University. My daughter, Kimberly, lives in Florida. My great passion is animal welfare. I have four cats and share a dog with Toni Garbo, our managing editor. I own the middle of our dog, Jack, and Toni is in charge of both ends (that's a great arrangement!)
