I'm taking part in the annual City to the Shore MS 150 bike ride this month down in South Jersey. I did one about 15 years ago on a mountain bike. Decided to do this one on a road bike. I've been doing more running than biking until very recently. I started running on a corporate team for 3.5 milers in central park. I had never run before so I concentrated on that for a couple of months to get a half-way respectable time in that event so I've been slow training on the bike. I've been taking spin class a few days a week but not as much road work as I need to so I'll probably be really sore after day 1 leading into day 2. If you want to donate here's the link:

LUKE,

When is this Mulriple Sclerosis bike ride you plan on cycling in down the Jersey Shore? The only "City to Shore" tour I know of goes from PA to the Jersey Shore.

I just did one September 13 and 14, 2008. It was HOT and I struggled to finish on the second day.

By the way. The Multiple Sclerosis Greater North Jersey Chapter and the Multiple Sclerosis Mid-Jersey Chapter is merging on October 1st, 2008. It will be knwon as Multiple Sclerosis New Jersey Metro Chapter.

It is probably the same ride but they start on the Jersey side of the bridge instead of Philly.

LUKE,

You should try the MS bike tour closer to home. Like the one that start and finish from Morristown NJ. Only 100 miles.

Got some hills, but still fun. The overnight stay is even more fun.

Come be my partner for September 2009.
