Say what people might about Perez Hilton, I think he's a super cool guy. He figured out how to capitalize (as in make money, become famous, etc.) on the Internet way before many people.

And the other reason I like him so much: he agreed to do a Web Exclusive interview this morning before he appeared on Good Day NY.

Good Day LIVE Online host Brett Larson asked Perez several questions including what his celebrity disaster predictions are for 2009. Check out the video for the answers.

I'm one of those people that when asked if I've seen this movie or that one my answer is usually no...that's followed by a WHAT? So, I wasn't going to let myself be out of the loop when it comes to talking about an Oscar worthy role by the now deceased Heath Ledger. I saw The Dark Night. It was too long for me and I don't follow the comic book story about Batman ( I don't even think I saw Batman begins...i know what you're saying WHAT?!) But now that I've gotten that out of the way, here's what I thought of Ledger's performance as the Joker. He was outstanding. He played the Joker to the point where I didn't see an actor, I saw one of the craziest people I've ever seen in my life (even if it was on a giant screen.) Ledger's convincing performance reminds of the kind of work Johnny Depp does. You can't but help ask yourself: 'is this guy crazy?'  (remember Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Pirates of the Caribbean?) If you're not big into Batman, see this movie anyway. Ledger is incredible.

My parents love to tell the story about our family trip to Bermuda many years ago. It goes something like this: "Kathy was determined to learn how to swim. She would jump into the hotel pool and then swim to her father who was waiting for her in the water. Once she was in, her dad would take a step back forcing her to swim a little further each time. Over and over again little Kathy swam towards her dad until she did it; she reached the wall of the pool on the other side all by herself."

My version of the story goes something like this: "I almost drowned trying to learn how to swim in Bermuda. My dad would push me away inthe pool every time I reached for him as I gasped for air." Moral of the story: I learned how to swim the hard way, but how else do you learn life's tough lessons?

I finally made it back to Bermuda last week. This time I went with one of my best friends and we did very little swimming. We enjoyed an awesome week aboard a cruise ship with stops on the island along the way. Bermuda is beautiful and I won't let me 'memories' of learning how to swim ruin my new experience. If you're looking for a place to vacation with pink sand beaches (my favorite color) fun nightclubs and great restaurants check out Bermuda. (i promise to add some pictures soon)
