The Pope Is Here

While the visit to New York City is going to send the local media into super-overdrive, we here at MyFoxNY.com are constantly updating the page we've created on the Holy Father's visit.

I should point out that we got a very interesting blog (including a beautiful picture) this morning from Fox 5 reporter Reid Lamberty from the nation's capital.

There is also a great question and answer session between Good Day's Jodi Applegate and a church expert. It's called Catholicism 101.

Great coverage online, Kathy. The staff is doing a great job and I know how much work goes into something like this. I really enjoyed the question and answer session with the priest. Jodi is a really good interviewer. She should do more of those. Happy Friday!

We also have some good video on that page of the local boy who handed the pope flowers today.
The kid is a super-star... anyone and everyone interviewed him.

Kathy Carvajal is a producer for Fox 5's website MyFoxNY.com. She began her career in television news as a producer in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After nearly two years down south, Kathy returned to the New York City area to work as a producer at NY1 News. Her first taste of the news business came as a desk assistant and tape editor for WCBS 880 AM in New York. Kathy is a graduate of New York University and has a degree in Journalism.
