I will have to say the only time I've ever cried when I got a Christmas present was when I got my Nintendo 64. I didn't have any games with it, just the system. I used to just play around with the controller, even though we had no games(that took about 3 months). So I totally understand the reaction you see here. I still play Nintendo 64 games on my computer every once in a while. Truthfully these games have aged very well. Much better than PS1 games, now those were just crude.

I'm sorry everyone, but I have to be that guy. This winter has already gotten the best of me. I just had my alley plowed on Saturday night, and the next day it's all been undone. I can't even tell where my alley ends and begins. Guess I'll have to buy a parking permit so I can park on the street. Only if the city plowed alleys. Now that would be a nice service amid ever rising taxes in Milwaukee.

One of the best things about going to the movies, is the movie previews. You get to see the hottest movies coming out in a year or so. They're usually really awesome. So I'm not totally anti-movie previews. I will say when I make a mental note of wanting to see a movie, I avoid all of the TV previews like the plague. Movie previews that play 5 times in a half hour give waaaaaay too much of the plot away, which leaves you going to see a movie that doesn't surprise you. I am kind of neurotic about it, and will always change the channel or leave the room while a preview for a really awesome movie is playing. Usually this practice leaves me surprised with the way the plot twists in a blockbuster film. The main two movies that I will absolutely avoid for 2009 are Transformers 2 and Terminator. Both will be in the running for movie of the year.

Does anyone else notice how much of the plot line these movie previews give away?

I'm an anime fan and an avid gamer. A week ago one of my college buddies introduced me to Super Mario Bros Z. It's a flash masterpiece that takes elements from Dragonball Z, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Super Mario Bros. I wish the original flash artist would turn this over to Nintendo and Sega, it has a pretty good premise for the next Mario RPG.

If you never liked Dragonball Z and are not into making flash movies, you'll never like this one.

Here's a link to the Super Mario Bros Z homepage, here's a youtube video of the first episode. I will say the first episode is a bit slow, but the second episode kicks it up a notch.

Hopefully you've watched the video by now, and have an opinion about this topic. I'm putting the question to you bloggers. Should this lunch lady be fired because of her past and maybe present?

Seriously what's up with the TV commercials playing in movie theaters? I see those commercials at home before I come to the movie.

I'm just wondering if I'm the only person annoyed by TV ads making their way onto the big screen.

Kenosha is considering a smoking ban, and the town is divided over the issue. What's really special about this is the size of Kenosha. Kenosha isn't the size of Milwaukee, so the bars are mostly mom and pop bars.

A common anti-smoking argument presented is "This ban will hurt business, and we'll be forced to close!"

I don't really know if this claim is that far off, in regards to Kenosha. I'm just wondering if you guys believe a smoking ban will force the bars of Kenosha to close.

Okay we all know that Brett is gone. As soon as I heard the news I started calling sportswear stores to see if they have any Favre jerseys left. I don't know, if I should rush and buy the jersey. The really good jersey costs around $110 and the cheaper printed ones cost $75 or $80. I don't have a packers jersey and don't own any other jerseys. Should I go out and make the impulse buy before it's too late?

Well atleast this didn't happen in Milwaukee. I heard some of the talking heads chatting about what happened to Senator Obama today. For those of you who missed it here it is:

It takes all kinds of people to make the world go around...

Now that the warm weather is upon us. Summer sports leagues are in full swing. So parents remember to behave and respect the sport and the athletes. Here's a Southpark parody:
