Maybe this is a few days late, but let's get a vote on what you think of the acts of Summerfest this year. Which ones did you like? Which ones do you wish they wouldn't bring back.

And, if you were a Summerfest planner, what acts would you bring for the festival?

Share your comments and thoughts here. I'm curious to know what people are thinking.

DUDE!!! You're still alive!!!!!
Where ya been??

I have given up on Summerfest. They have no control of the drunks and people are rude. I'm just too old for all that idiocy. They really need to not serve people who are intoxicated or start a drunktank down there where people can go and sober up.
I'll stick with State Fair.

My friend and I went to see Earth, Wind, and Fire on Sunday the 6th. It was completely a madhouse. The place was wall-to-wall people.

It was hard to move and even the ambulance had trouble moving through the crowd. Completely a zoo.

However, I was really excited about 311 and they did awesome!!!

It was crowded.....you're right about that. I was focused on the music though.

On the 4th of July, I checked out The Roots at the Miller Lite Oasis. And like other side stage shows, it was crowded almost, but I focused the performance. BTW: It was my first time going to a live hip hop performance of any kind.

This is the first year I did not go to Summerfest in over a decade. This decision was made due to the Summerfest officials forcing the US army to remove a game rated teen from their display. Meanwhile, the latest version of Grand Theft Auto - rated mature, was in a nearby tent being played by kids. Summerfest got complaints from a left wing group and decided to appease them.
