What a race for president this has turned out to be. While the Republican party eventually rallied behind John McCain to make him the potential nominee for president, the Democratic party has been fractured with two strong opposing candidates.

On Tuesday, both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama battled it out to pick up steam before the Democratic National Convention later this summer. It has been a whirlwind turn of campaign rallies, town halls, debates, and mudslinging. The ultimate victor may not even be decided until the DNC and may rest with those superdelegates.

Now if you're not familiar with the superdelegate system, basically it means someone who is not pledged to the vote of the people and can vote any way they choose. It is these people that Clinton and Obama will want to court to win the presidential nomination for the Democratic party.

As of Tuesday morning, Obama has an estimated 1,415 delegates and Clinton has an estimated 1,253 delegates. It takes 2,024 delegates to win the nomination.

Your last paragraph says it all.
When I saw the videos they did for WWE I was completely disgusted. It just shows what a real circus this has become.
What's next? Maybe they'll go on American Idol and sing for us? (God I hope not)
I'm beginning to wonder if it all really matters at all.
Do the people really choose who runs and wins?

Obama will win the popular vote.....but if Hillary gets the majority of the superdelegates and the nomination at the DNC....then all hell is going to break loose.

This is the real "war" that's going on. It's nasty, it's ugly......it's politics at it's finest. Why can't we all just get along.

Oh you know...I never talk about religion, sex or politics...LOL! I think Clinton and Obama are like two little kid's bickering. The way things look I will be undecided right up until I draw the black line on my ballot on election day. I am baffled as to who should be our next president! Mickey sounds pretty good!

All I know is, despite of the the bickering, I'm just waiting to say....finally we have a clear winner in this. My money is on Obama for the win. That's my pick. Despite of whatever.

There's a video on Youtube that explores this idea. It shows how they "set up" the debates just like someone in an advertising company would. The candidates they want you to see are in the middle, just like a product they want you to see and buy and, if you look at the time each candidate is given to speak, you can clearly see how unfair these debates are. It's all set up. Again, they treat the American public as if we are all stupid. That angers me to no end.

My favorite 'political couple' isnt the Clintons, but Mary Matalin and James Carville. If those two ran for P/VP I think the nation would have a nice wake-up call. Can you imagine the 'ragun cajun' giving a presidential address?!?!? Lol. Screaming at the public about how they need to vote or something. For those who think Carville is just a weirdo, let me remind you... hes one of the best campaign managers in the world. And Bill Clinton will be the first to tell you that the main reason he won was because of Carville. Mary Matalin (republican equal to James) will be the first to tell you to never underestimate a Clinton though, and her opinion is that Hillary will win. If Hillary has to pull in favors from the super-dems, or whatever, she will.

the Democratic party is just out to be the first at something. at the start of this race they had at least one admirable candidate. When John Edwards stepped out of the race, John McCain came out from nowhere. Just a coincident not likely. the Dems, in favor of big headlines used reverse racism to choose thier front runner instead of the better candidate. let's try to ride Mr. Clintons coattail WAKE UP it's Clinton politics that gave china the power to take our jobs and run gas prices by the barrel through the roof. Edwards hasn't backed either one cause he knew he was the dem best choice. The Dems have handed the election to John McCain, which is good we need a strong leader in times of uncertainty. John McCain and John Edwards both had something I like in them, they are willing to see the other point of view, and they are not afraid to vote in the gray area to get something accomplished. There is serious issues at stake and you think we are going to hand it over to a party that rather make headlines then offer a dependable candidate. If your wondering no i'm not republican or dem, I vote for who can best lead us in the times we face. Sorry Obama Leaving in our enemies shoes as a child is enough for me to disquifie you, You show too many signs of a man with no coincious. Hillary you can't take insurance money and make a health care plan that works, Canada had one that was so close only mistake they made instead of making it a % tax they made it a set price. Healthcare cost needs to be non profit. The burden needs to be distriputed by ability to pay not service based on abl

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. That says to me that every American has the right to the very best in health care regardless of their social status. As for removing our forces in the middle east, then you mind as well pull all troops out of the eastren and southren hemispheres and close borders to north america only cause when i troops leave and the UN continues to not do their job Millions not thousands will die and not in years but in days.
