Road Trip Playlist

Two of my good friends are embarking on a road trip next week along Route 66. They asked me if I had any suggestions for good road trip music, and I thought I'd get some input from my MyFoxMilwaukee.com bloggers!

If you were going on a road trip and could only have 6 (this is FOX 6 after all) songs on your playlist/ipod/cd/tape/radio, etc... which songs would you choose?

I'll compile your suggestions and send them to my friends!

The O'Jays----"Stairway to Heaven" or best of...(my favorite group of all-time)
Rod Stewart----"So Far Away"
Tom Cochrane----"Life is a Highway"
Johnny Cash-----"I've Been Everywhere"
Prince-----"Little Red Corvette".....and if you own a corvette......Heaven!)
Phil Collins-----"Take me Home"...even better version w/ Peter Gabriel

If you're going on Route 66...you have to take Depeche Mode's version of the "Route 66" song. After that, it would be:

Pink - Get the Party Started
the Police -- Every Little Thing She Does is Magic

Gretchen Wilson -- Here for the Party
Bob Seeger -- Old Time Rock 'n Roll
Elvis -- Jailhouse Rock
