I am getting completely off of this forumn as I am sick of all the negative crap in my life!  I appreciate ALL the love, support, and the heart felt guidance that all of you have poured out to me while I was dealing and still am dealing with my son being burned. Please, have a great life and keep on pushing on and have a great life!!!

I will keep supporting the family the best that I can and still enjoy life as I can never have a "bad" day,  and if I even consider feeling sorry for myself, I will look at my boy!!!  As, we ar not authorized to have a bad day!

Now, instead of  dwelling on the negatives,  please, dwell on the positives as I will continue to look forward to one thing- when the real leader, the real king and the real ruler comes back to this stupid earth and takes us home!! aka JESUS!!! Peace friends, Army Strong!! Wilky69

Now and then you have to see the negative Sarge, so you can appreciate the positive even more.
Know that I have always respected you and have nothing but best wishes for you and yours. Thomas is a strong lad, he has a strong father so of course he is. Tell him the scars heal, the pain becomes a memory. Been there and done that.
Now, go kick some ass and have a beer.

Are you going to become a hermit and just quit trying to contribute to society just because there are so many ignorant people in the world? Are you going to shut off the news also? Everywhere we go in the world we will encounter abusive foolish people, but if all the better people hide away and do nothing then the abusive will steamroller over all of us. Not getting involved to make a difference can also be a supporting action of promoting evil. Are the people in Iraq worth fighting for by using guns but not the people in the US by using words, which is where your child lives?

Do you love Jesus and believe He will soon return to fix this garbage strewn world? Then speak out on His behalf and rebuke others. You too can learn to be a better Christian if you get actively engaged in arguing His principles.

Look around you. Is there no joy to be found? Think of your life troubles, then look at the life conditions of millions of people starving to death and being abused and murdered in the world.

Hate to see you go Wilky. Want you to know I told both my kids who both very new drivers and my husband about talking on the phone while pumping gas. The lives you may have saved may be my own family. Thank you. And thank you for your service to our country.

Please at least pop in now and then to let us know how you and your family are doing.

Oh, that is sad...We will miss you in the Faith Blogs and want you to know that we have been praying for your son.

I understand how you feel but I do know that you have so much to offer others...You have already shared so much!

I too get very tired of the negative comments of others and quite frankly, it makes me feel sad for them. I wonder why they are so angry…I sometimes get ridiculed and read hateful comments that are disappointing but I keep on writing my little devotional each week because I really do believe that this is something that I can share to encourage others… I have seen your spirit of love and concern as you’ve shared what is in your heart with others here too…Try not to be influenced by the negative comments especially when your heart is in the right place…God knows our hearts and he fills us with a spirit of joy that might bend but not break simply because we want to love on another and share a message…Will you think about that?

I want to remind you that there are many who read your posts and find encouragement by what you have to share…I would hope that you might consider too the many who encourage you and appreciate your struggles…We can all hold one another up…Know that there are many here who care about you and your situation…Don’t lose hope in the Blogs if this is what you enjoy…Remember that there are many people who read them, who never comment…We never know how God might use us to reach out to someone at just the right moment and lift them from a place of despair to find purpose and joy that God intends for us all…God can use us as His

One more thing our Blogging friend...
It really is okay to feel burdened and sometimes overwhelmed... Sometimes we will have rainbow days and sometimes we will have rainy days... Keep looking for the rainbows. They will come even when God seems to be far away.

I'm sorry, I wrote the second comment before I realized the first wasn't completed...
This is the end of my first comment...

"God can use us as His tools if we let him and you definitely have a story to tell to others…

I’m going to keep on praying for your son and also for you…Keep reading the blogs and try to remember what others have said…Surround yourself by the writings of those who encourage you…Disregard the negative thoughts of others and remember that God is near…"

Nan

PS How is your son?

I didn’t mean to sound so harsh.

I should have included suggesting you take time off to seek peace and regain your strength if you need to. We should all always seek to minimize the negative encounters we have in life, but never to the point of allowing the negative people to rule over us by forcing us into retreat.

I wish you the best and hope you do not lose your faith in Jesus, but instead come closer to Him, during these trials of yours. Remember Job.

Hello,

I must admit that I have taken a while to even view this blog, I wil be around, but I MUST get away from everything! I am Army Strong and so is MY wife and kids, I know that there are SO many other's out there that heve been through a lot worse or is going through turmoil's now, but- almost lose your son to fire and lose your 10 month old daughter to a b'd who want's to rape her- and se, the petty stuff is just that- petty! So, with that said, I am going to take all of your advice and trust me I appreciate it truly! I am simply going to take some time off, get some counseling, and yes Mechany- I will have that beer!!! Peace from a humbled, soldier who is willing to die for your right to even have this forumn, Peace- ARMY STRONG and God be speed to all! Wilky69

Hi Wilky -- I read a lot of the blogs but I really don't post that much. You have reached a lot of people like me in a positive way and you don't even know it. My little motto to myself these last few months when I feel overwhelmed or tired is "suck it up girl and be army strong". Just knowing what you guys went through makes me grateful for all the good things I have in my life and to not take them granted. I wish you all the best my friend.
