It would be great, if....both John McCain and Barack Obama would hold a press conference, stand together and both pledge to end this negative campaigning, and to focus only on the issues.

Why? Our nation is in serious trouble, and we do not need the two people who are vying for President to be bickering and pointing fingers at each other as if they are engaged in a school yard fight!

Times are too serious to engage in politics as usual, current events call for both candidates to rise above the muck and mire and to take a higher road.

They need to tell us how they will do things differntly, not how the other candidate will just mess things up worse.

Gentlemen, now is the time to truly show us you are about change, by changing your tone and showing us that you care about more than just winning.

It would be nice, but unrealistic...if only "Change" were more than just a catch-phrase.
