My dog Baby (chocolate lab dam) gave birth to 12 puppies on Saturday afternoon. WOWSERS!!! (the sire is Buddy- chocolate lab as well.) Both are our dogs.
There are 11 puppies now, since the runt passed away earlier this evening. We did everything the vet said to do with round the clock care but he still didn't make it. It was so sad.....
Anywho.....there are 11. They are doing well and will be ready to go to new homes the middle of September.
If anyone is interested please leave me a comment......

Nutty 'Jericho' Fans Have Saved Show
Peanut Protest to Save Canceled CBS Series Worked
By LYNN ELBER, AP
LOS ANGELES (June 6) - "Jericho" fans who slammed CBS with protests over the drama's cancellation have won the battle: It will return next season, the network said Wednesday.
It was an unusual display of viewer might since networks usually put ratings ahead of even the most passionate, well-organized fan base. But CBS said the show deserved another chance, while cautioning that it must prove it has wider appeal.
Millions of Nuts Later ...
"Wow! Over the past few weeks you have put forth an impressive and probably unprecedented display of passion in support of a prime time television series," CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler said in a letter to "Jericho" boosters.
The letter was released to The Associated Press.
"You got our attention; your emails and collective voice have been heard," Tassler wrote, and seven episodes have been ordered for midseason 2007-08. "In success, there is the potential for more. But, for there to be more `Jericho,' we will need more viewers."
Fans must do their part to rally interest while the network does its job, she said.
CBS is planning a campaign to reintroduce "Jericho," including rerunning the show on CBS this summer, streaming episodes and clips online and releasing the first season on DVD on Sept. 25. The show's return date and scheduling has yet to be determined.
CBS had to complete deals with cast members, including star BLEEP Ulrich, before announcing its decision.
Networks rarely reverse a show's axing but CBS has proven its flexibility at least once before. In 1983, after "Cagney & Lacey" was canceled and the network was bombarded with protests, the police drama was brought back in 1984 - and ran successfully to 1988.
Since "Jericho" was canceled last month the network has been deluged with calls, messages and shipments of nuts signifying viewer displeasure.
"We are tired of the networks (not just CBS) tossing aside quality programming," was the message carried by jericholives.com, one of several web sites protesting the cancellation. "Enough! We're going to fight for this one."
Clarke Ingram, a "Jericho" fan from Pittsburgh, Pa., and a spokesman for jericholives, said Tuesday that the drama about a Kansas town isolated by a nuclear terrorist attack deserved renewal for its daring premise, writing and acting.
"People would paint this as teenagers in tinfoil hats" rallying behind the show, said Ingram, 50, an operations manager for two radio stations. "That's not what this is. These are educated professionals."
Several factors worked in the show's favor: It appealed to the young adult viewers sought by advertisers and was one of CBS' most popular shows streamed online, indicating an audience beyond that measured by traditional ratings.
CBS also likely took into consideration the dent a long hiatus put in the show's viewership, the same scheduling misstep that hurt ABC's "Lost" and NBC's "Heroes."
Last fall, "Jericho" was averaging 10.5 million viewers; when it returned in the spring, it drew about 8.1 million, about a 23 percent decline from the first half of the season.
The display of fan enthusiasm included the delivery of 50,000 pounds of peanuts to its New York offices. In the season finale, a character replies "Nuts!" to a demand that the beleaguered town of Jericho surrender.
That's the same response that a U.S. general in World War II made to a German demand for surrender at the Battle of the Bulge.
Another positive outcome of the fan campaign: CBS is donating the protest peanuts to charities, including one that sends care packages to troops overseas.
(Peanuts for care packages for troops....FANTASTIC!!!!!)

Today was a long day. Got to the hospital at 5:26 a.m. I went over the wrong bridge. UGGHH! Corrected myself and got where I needed to be. They were accepting 10 people- she was 9th. They handed out numbers at 6 a.m. Everyone was brought upstairs at 7 a.m. Everyone was called by number and given paperwork to fill out. They started calling each person in at 9 a.m.
Following so far? That's 3 1/2 hours so far.
My sister was 9th in line. She gets in to see dentist after 10:15. LONG WAIT. She had x-rays done monday. He looks at x-rays. Does an exam on her and declares 2 are gonna have to come out today. Well......DUH!!! No kidding. By now it's 11:00 and he informs us that they stop taking patients downstairs at 12 noon for the morning session. We are in luck. He escorts us downstairs to the Oral Surgery dept. We sit in waiting room again for a bit.
She gets called back and it is now 11:17. Oral surgeon does exam of teeth. Sets up and is forewarned that my sis DOES NOT do needles well at all. For everyone's safety her arms had to be velcroed down to the chair arms. Policy prohibited me from remaining in the room. I went back out into waiting room to read my book and wait.
She comes out with her cheek stuck out because of gauze and does not look happy. The time is now 12:16.
Oh...and did I mention I got a $26 dollar ticket on my car because the freakin meter ran out. I got out to the car 6 minutes after it ran out and I ALREADY had a ticket! GRRRR!!!!!!!!! I went out to the car when we went from dentist to oral surgeon- I stepped out to put money in meter while sis sat in waiting room of oral surgeon. Already had ticket so I left it on windshield and went back inside. No more quarters for that meter. YAY ME!!! NOT!!!!!
SO...we get back on the road to come home and she is bitching and complaining in the car. Can't smoke for 12 hours- which is midnight tonight. She's in pain. I tell her to shut up with my teeth clenched because I am VERY TIRED and did NOT want to hear her crap. (Sorry...sympathy was out to lunch. I was hungry and tired!)
We pick up my daughter who had gotten out of school at 11:30 and walked to grandma's house. Got home and fed everyone. My sis didn't like the Pureed Pasta-Butter 'N cheese entree' I gave her and decided to put ice pack on cheek.....take pain pill...and go to sleep. And she's been asleep since.
I made a judgement call with my daughter. I still had one more house to clean today- Mom tackled my first house of today-THANK GOD FOR MOM!!! Mom offered to come with so I could clean my 2nd and last house of the day and get back home quickly. I accepted that offer- I was BEAT TIRED!
I had fed peanut. Gave her the option of playing Club Penguin on the PC or watching cable up in my bed. I was only going to be out for an hour and a half- 2 hours MAX. My sister was here- asleep on the couch- but HERE if EMERGENCY occurred. She was playing Club Penguin when I left.
Hubby (who doesn't live with me- we are separated) worked until 2 pm today. I didn't know this was his early day at work. He showed up at my house and took my daughter out with him. He called my cell phone PISSED at me. He has issues with my sister and wants me to kick her out or he's gonna take me to court for custody of my daughter. Well, that's what he said anyway. I didn't hear the cell phone ring- was vacuuming house I was cleaning. Got the message when I got back home when I was in a panic when Peanut was not in the house.
OK.....in a nut shell.....John is not a happy camper. I was tired and grouchy and not very pleasant toward him on the phone. Didn't appreciate his comments that he wanted my sister out and wanted her out NOW.
"I" am paying the mortgage and utility bills in this house. I have been since January. By myself. At this point, I don't give a flying BLEEP if the mortgage is in both our names. The "this is my house too" line is nothing but BS to me now. This is half your money pit? OK.....so pay for half of everything!!!
I am in very nasty mood at this point. Cranky and tired. I get out of my stinky clothes and into nightgown to relax. Phone rings. It's my son. He says he needs to get to Baccalaureate- he is in choir. CRAP!!! I forgot about it. I run to grab a quick shower. Throw decent clothes on. Have to go to hubby's grandma's to pick him up and take him to his dad's apartment to get shirt and tie. (While on phone with him at his initial call I said to go to apartment - on foot- to get ready. He said NO. UM....why not?) Never mind. I was running late - I call on cell while in route- and said to be ready to run out the door. He is not at the door. GRRR!! Beep- nothing. Get out- run to house. He was down basement. GRRR!!
Take him to the apartment. He picks fight in car- I was already pissy. Not good move. My son said a nasty phrase to me. I said "oh really?" He got dropped off at the apartment. And I left him there. I won't be talked to that way and he thinks he's getting away with it. I did drive back and tell him he owed me an apology- to which he replied I don't owe you BLEEP. We had some words before I drove off VERY PISSED OFF!!!
He missed the Baccalaureate and he will get an "F". His problem, not mine. He's been disrespectful toward me many times and his father has never done a damn thing about it. Hell, he taught him to be that way toward me. So why would he defend me if my son did it to me to my face?
Anywho....I am at home. Waiting for my daughter to get home so I can go to bed. I am exhausted. I am NOT doing battle with husband when he gets here. He would be wise to drop her off and we can discuss BLEEP about my sister tomorrow or another time. Tonight would not be a good time to do it. My sis is passed out on the couch and trying to rest. He needs to have a heart and just leave it for tonight.
All in all...a long crappy day. And it's not over yet. GRRRRR!!!

I met Janet Zappala today at the 9th Street Italian Market Festival. She had gotten 1st place in a contest that was on stage. We met her after she came offstage. She is such a sweet person.
I was surrounded by my family when we were talking to her. There was my mom, aunt, cousin and my daughter.
Janet was checking out my mom's italian hat and shirt that said "Italians Do It Better". She liked it. She gave my mom the apron she had been wearing. It was black and had Sorrento written on it. My mom didn't have anything to carry it around in. I took it off of her, opened it up fully, and then folded it as small as it could go so it would fit into my waist bag I had on.
2 hours later we were stopped on the street by someone Janet Zappala was with. Janet was looking for us on 9th Street. She was going crazy because her engagement ring and wedding ring was in the pocket of the apron. I pulled the apron out of my waist bag and we checked the pockets and they were empty. I emptied the contents of my waist bag and they were not there. I think between Janet getting off stage, walking around carrying it, handing it to my mom, then me opening it up to fold it- it got lost in the street with the huge crowd.
We all felt SO HORRIBLE about it. Janet looked like she was gonna cry. (she was so upset) We stuck around and talked to her for awhile. We had to give her the apron back- the police told her she needed it to have for insurance purposes and filing a lost/stolen claim with the police.
While talking to Janet, before the whole ring mess, she listened about how I was a blogger at Rob's Weather Blog on Fox 29 and that I have met Rob, David A. and Kerri Lee. She asked me to please say HELLO to Rob G and Kerri Lee.
So...I consider what she asked me to do DONE. Forwarding info to Rob G. and Kerri Lee.
I know what it is like to lose a ring. I've been there, done that. It's awful. You don't know how I wished that I could have "pulled the rabbit out of the hat" when I pulled that apron back out of my waist bag.
I am heartbroken for her. I am hoping and praying that SOMEONE would report the finding of the rings to the police. That's all I can do is pray about it.

I think a weekend in August might be the way to go. Plenty of time to organize things.
I also think that Wildwood is pretty family friendly. A lot of things that our kids can do. Plus there is plenty for adults to do out on the town at night.
I have a teenage son who said he would be willing to help with my 9 year old daughter and other kids. BUT THAT'S AN ISSUE FOR DOWN THE ROAD LATER ON......
First things first.....I need to know how many would definitely go. I've gotten a hand ful of responses so far.........

I think we should have a Bloggers Weekend. An evening out just isn't enough. Especially on a weeknight like it was tonight. I had a blast for the short while I was at Chickie and Pete's! Thanks to FOX for making it a blast!!
I think an entire weekend down the shore - this summer- would be just the thing if everyone could do it.
I mentioned it on Rob G's Weather Blog and I am curious to see who else would be into it. If you are interested, please leave me a comment! Thanks!

I clean houses all around Delaware County. I happened to be cleaning at a house on Urban Avenue in Norwood. A neighbor came over and she was banging on the door for me to get the dogs into the house. (She was banging at the back door.) I went to the door and looked behind her. The sky was BLACK and ash was flying everywhere.
I asked her if she knew if anyone was in the house the fire was in. She said she didn't think so. I said "I pray that no one was in the house." I put it in the back of my mind until the news tonight. I had "no idea" that there were 4 houses involved.
I closed the windows to the house, gave the dogs treats and couldn't calm them down because of fire truck sirens going off, got my cleaning equipment into the car and tried to get out of there. There were emergency vehicles everywhere. Fire company personnel came from several different companies to try to put the fire out.
Please say a prayer for those who lost their homes tonight. Also pray for those 2 firefighters who went to the hospital for treatment.
