So it took me 1 hr 20 mins to get from Greenway and Parkview tonight a trip that normally takes 10 minutes, Greenway completely backed up to the 303 and beyond, detoured to Bell road, but Bell completely closed across the 303, traffic gridlocked could not get home!!!  Searched this website and other local news websites, and nothing!!!  It must be bad saw loads of Ambulance, fire trucks, heard a helicopter, emergency vehicles turning up approximately an hour after we heard the first sirens, What happened and why isnt it on the news???  If we were in the East Valley it would be 'Breaking News"!!!!

 

So like many Americans and people around the world the Economy is hitting us hard!!   So my water bill was due today 10/8/08, I called to make the payment ON the date due, only to find out my water had already been turned off, and they then charge me a further $30 to have it turned back on, now if I didnt pay my bill today they have every right to turn it off after midnight when the date is then 10/9/08,  there was a past due small amount I called to pay ON the date due.  If I could find a way of not having to use these crooks I would and dump them sooner than you can say 'water'!!!  Always the same the fat cats get fatter and screw the rest of us.  Quite a little racket you have going there AZ American Water and you sure know how to fleece your customers.  If I ever get the opportunity to tell you to piss off I will.

Saw it tonight, loved it!!!  Its funny, sad and highly entertaining, go see it and if you like ABBA songs you will have a great sing a long, dont leave when you thinks its the end, more to come!!

I am a Supervisor for a large Retail chain,  the obvious increase in Shoplifting is astounding, there is one person (male) that comes in regularly to try to steal, he has already done one bolt and has come back numerous times to try again, but Security and Staff are all over him, so he has given up the last couple of times, I know exactly what he looks like and alert Security and other staff immediately, he is so blatent it is sickening, and makes me mad because we are trying to earn an honest wage to look after our families and pay our bills, trying so hard to keep afloat and these scumbags dont want to pay for anything, they are the reason we dont get paid very well, let it be known one more time and proof he WILL be arrested and I hope he rots in a very hot place.

Here's a novel idea, why dont you get a job you thief!!

Then there are the abusive Customers who are shocked when they actually have to pay the price that is rung up at the Register, Hellooooo  that is the price you pay as was stated in the place you picked it up from, and no you dont get it for free you DO actually have to pay for it!!!  One female (if thats what she was) came into my work tonight, did not want to pay the price for some items, when we checked it, it was clearly marked the price it rang up as, so she proceeded to get very rude and aggressive and was cussing infront of all her little children, using the most foul language, then was screaming at those dear children who then proceeded to hit the Manager when we proved the price was correct!!!   Look out for these kids law enforcement,  their mother is an ugly person who is teaching them aggression and will be future offenders, because their Mother obviously is abusive to them, and that was apparant while she was in the Store, I was almost calling CPS, maybe I should have!!!

Just a thought - Could these Oil Prices and sky rocketing Gas prices be soaring because those idiots in the Middle East know this is how to cripple America and the Western World???

Then my other thought - Why in the h e double hockey sticks is Bushy boy doing NOTHING to stop this robbery and Act Of Terrorism???  What is Obama going to do about this??

Do they realise that the regular American family is struggling to even eat??  Some are working 2 or 3 jobs between them just to make ends meet, and the resulting soaring prices in food and other commodities is cutting a huge hole in the household budget.

Wouldnt it be better for this person to choose to Divorce his wife rather than attempt a Contract to have her killed??  I wonder what circumstances lead up to him making this dumb choice, and paying an Undercover Officer $4500 to have her done away with.  If he doesn't want to be with her anymore just Divorce her!!!  This woman is somebodys Daughter, Mother, Grandmother (maybe), can you imagine the shock finding out your husband wanted you dead?!?!?!

We like to walk the Waterfall Trail, have done that a few times, it is easy and great for my little one to do, have never seen that with Water falling though LOL.  Makes for a nice early morning walk or winter time afternoon out.  Sure is pretty up there.  Did they let you stay home seeing as you were so close?? LOL

I am not going right into it again here, but I have a very serious situation with my Renters, he is absolutely Psycho!!  my house is trashed and he is making excuse after excuse to not fix his intentional destruction to my house, am also going through the Airforce.  But is so immature and crazy our only next option is take him to court (and her but she took the kids out of state, cannot blame her either).  Two year lease was broken after only 7 months no notice given by them.

Is there any Lawyers out there that can help??  Tried one but they want too much money up front for the Retainer.

Tonight myself and my daughter and my 5 yr old were in the Grocery store just minding our own business and grabbing some milk and other groceries, when these two losers bust out of the Emergency exit, alarms going off and Security chasing these creeps, they tried to steal some Alcohol, but they didnt get away with it ha ha!!!  It didnt register right away what was going on, but then I got mad and worried about my little boy who they could have so easily knocked over and hurt.  Thank god that didnt happen.  Are people desperate or just plain stupid or both??  I am noticing it more and more recently, and at my work, seems like vermin are all around us and dont want to pay for anything!!!  

Oh and by the way they were teenagers, my daughter saw them and said they looked about her age (16-17 yrs old)   Losers!!!!

Ok so myself and a couple of other hard working moms went out tonight, we had one drink at the Brookside.  Then had reservations at Yormins Bistro, its a restaurant and has a Jazz Band playing, the music was good, but the service was absolutely disgusting!!  Our server was rude beyond belief, ordered take out pie and one to eat in, she didnt bring the eat in pie just the take out and when my friend said where is the eat in pie?  she slammed down the take out box and if looks could kill!!  Also my refills for my pepsi didnt come, so I gave up.  So then we said dont bother we want our check it took forever, and she kept giving us the dirtiest looks, all we are doing is sitting down (I was DD no alcohol for me) my friends had one martini each) talking and having fun between ourselves, no one else in there was under 65 and absolutely hated us being there.

I guess the older generation has declared that THEIR hang out, but last I saw there was no restriction on age limit allowed in there and its in Surprise and they do not own this town, I was always taught to respect my elders but I wonder if any of these people were ever taught respect. 

Lets just say I will never ever go back to that restaurant, its the worst service I have ever received in any place in my entire life.  Would have taken my husband there as he likes Jazz, but we wont be back and I will make sure that everyone I know doesnt bother either.  SHAME ON YOU YORMINS BISTRO!!!!  We will be going elsewhere.  The food was very ordinary and not that good either.

Wonder what he will do once the snowbirds leave?!?!   Guess the place will be empty then.

OK so I absolutely cannot stand this money grabbing, gold digging (female dog).  What did she do to deserve this settlement?  IMO she only married Paul McCartney for the money and he fell for it.  When they got married I thought right then he was looking for another Linda, sadly he got bitten by a gold digger.  I believe Heather Mills does not deserve one penny of HIS hard earned millions.  In all the interviews I have seen of her she is a complete nasty hateful (will bleep my other thought) cannot even call her a person.  Its sad that the law says she should get a settlement because she deserves NOTHING!!  Child support should be paid and that is it.  Did I hear that when she gets paid she will leave the country?  How about we blast her into Orbit?

Ron I have to applaud your comment this morning on your report about the Farm Workers and Illegal Immigrants being hired through the Mexican Consulate.

You added that plenty of Americans would work that if the pay was competitive, you are so right.  But its sad that Illegal Immigrants could STILL get jobs, and us Legal ones and American Citizens are losing their shirts due to layoffs (both myself and hubby were victims of that in 2007) and now between the two of us we are working 4 jobs just to make ends meet.  It should be mandatory no matter what that they become Legal before they even get a sniff of employment!!  With that have to get on with the day and get ready for work later, have worked 7 days straight and still trying to be a good mom too!!  It isnt easy!!
