What can I do for my upcoming flowers?

I have daffidols and tulips already coming up in my yard. What can I do to protect them with the impending weather coming? They are up about 1/2".

I am very new to "blogging" so please bear with me. I just wanted to introduce myself and say thank you for the great new website.

I am a very open minded person who loves her children and husband more than anything. When the weather is good, we love working in our yard and planting different plants. I have enjoyed this site a great deal.

I am employed full-time for the State of MO. I have 2 children, a son and a daughter. My husband and I enjoy our time with our families. We really love it when the weather cooperates and can work outside in our yard and garden. We also have a 1 year old miniature Chihuahua named Peanut who is our "baby". If anyone knows what will work to keep her from chewing, let me know.
