It is wrong to call any race of people "animals"!!

As for Barak's minister, he is a follower of Liberation Theology, which preaches that the living Christ is with the oppressed, that it was Jesus' ministry and mission to proclaim freedom and liberation to the those who suffer. Liberation theology seeks to stir things up and challenge the status quo.

And it is not just "Black" it is for all oppressed peoples, of all races--it does not seek to pull people apart, but calls for reconcilliation, just as Jesus did, and as Christ promises in his resurrection, which Christians will celebrate on Easter this Sunday.

Barak's pastor may have been extreme, and may have gone too far, but his goal is to bring people together, by breaking down the walls between us--you break down walls with a hammer, not violence, but by getting people to think!

We are fooling ourselves if we think racism is no longer a problem here in this country, just read the first posting on this string! I would love to have a President who challenges his faith and beliefs, and who seeks to find reconilliation in the face of so many things that can pull us apart.

I want a President who sees and celebrates the diversity in our people, and also seeks to find common ground so that we can build a more stronger union together.

I do not see Barak as a racist, I see him as a man who constantly challenges himself to think in different ways, and who is not pretending that the status quo is good enough. I think he sees that we can do better, and that it will take many voices to get us there.

I see both

Racism is a two way street in this country. Until everyone realizes that, race relations will continue to falter.

Saying "God damn America" is trying to bring people together?

Saying that whites created the AIDS virus to control the black population is not racist?

Black people cannot by guilty by association like white people can?

Racism is thriving in this country, and whites aren't the only guilty party.

It's a shame for Obama; this will probably ruin his chances for presidency, but we are all judged by the company we keep. As for babies in dumpsters and predators, Catholic priests, bla..bla..bla, that's reaching and distracting from the hateful statements the so called reverend made. If I heard those statements in my place of worship, I would RUN not walk out of there. Church is for worship, not to spew political rhetoric. It's still great to be an American!

AS FOR AL SHARPTON AND JESSIE JACKSON OBAMA DOES NOT NEED THEM HE IS HOLDING HIS OWN. AND FOR THE RECORD THEY ARE NOT MY ADVOCATES LIKE OBAMA I HAVE BROAD SHOULDERS AND I CAN HOLD MY OWN AT ALL TIMES IN ANY SITUATION. SO WE CAN HAVE THIS OPINION BATTLE AS LONG AS YOU LIKE, BUT THE BOTTOM LINE IS MAY THE BEST MAN OR WOMEN WIN.

Double standards don't help race relations either.

People say not to blame the whole community by the actions of a few (with which I agree), then turn around and blame the catholic religion on the action of a tiny minority of priest. that's not only hypocritical, but just plain wrong!

Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta.

Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world.

Since it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking Major public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background.

Well..well...well. What do we have here? A race war of words. This is hillaryous. (jeebs..it's spelled that way on purpose)

Taz....you have points, that are valid, but when you call anyone an animal all you do is make yourself look bad.

There is no racism in America...only people who use it as a weapon. It is being done now with Obamma. Racism is not what it was back in the day...it has evolved. It is only used now as an excuse, a cop-out and foe gain. It is being called all kinds of "new" things too...

These are just a few of the clever ways that all Americans use race for personal gain or for harming someone else.

I don't care about Osamma's pastor...he is NOT running for president. Obamma is doing a fine job of double talking and lying all on his own. The fact are the facts...he is not ready yet. I'm not interested in Billery either, al the lies and scandles of the former president will effect her judgement.

Summing up...politicians are dishonest...ALL of them! The "people" have allowed these lying, hypocrits to infect the very souls of our great country. When are we the "people" going to agree to fix this mess? This is what divides us, there are the doers and the watchers...stop watchin and start doing something Americans, if you REALLY want change.

And it's a lie. And as long as it keeps being perpetuated by these liberals, our inner cities are not going to get any better. The best thing Obama could do would be to tell anyone, including blacks, to stop feeling that someone, whether whites or their goverment, owes them something, and start living like no one owes them anything and they need to build their own path to success. Listen. Liberal leaders in our cities have been trying all their government funded and directed tricks for decades now to improve our cities with deterioration rather than improvement. You'd think those citizens in our cities would be open to trying something different or elected different leaders. They don't because they are so dependent on government and unions, that they are too afraid to think what life might be like if they could live independently. Unless the citizens of our cities are willing to accept a new way of living and a new ideology, our cities are just in for more of the same, and it's a shame. You have no one to blame but yourselves.
