The National Weather Service has issued a SNOW ADVISORY for Philadelphia and points south and east.

There's a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY in effect for Lancaster County and points north and west of there.

This could be the swan song of Winter.

Outside the air is frigid, and snow is on the way this morning.

But the start of Spring is just two weeks away, and the Flower Show is in town, so there are lots of reasons to be hopeful.

Since the first flakes are expected to fall during the morning rush, we are once again asking for your help during Good Day Philadelphia.

If you see snowflakes this morning, let us know where you are and what is happening at your location.

This might be the kids' last chance for a snow day this season.   We'll see what happens and look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks in advance!

We are currently having light snowfall here in New Castle,Delaware. The Siberian Husky boys have enjoyed the cold weather but wish there was just a bit more snow. The Hairless Kids (Chinese Crested Dogs) say enough is enough and they are looking forward to some warmer sunny days to bask in the sun. I think the hmans here are also eagerly awaiting some warm sunny days and get back out on the agility course.

Hi Sue, It's already sticking to the driveways and sidewalks here in Thorndale. It's also laying on the grass. It's beautiful like sparkly like diamonds!! It's so dry it will make easy clean up with brooms!

It just started here in Pennsauken! WAHOO... I have my crocheting here to keep me busy and my "window to the world" wide open so I can watch the peaceful snow drifting down... so pretty to watch, later, so much a pain in the patutie to clear.
I'll probably get a few teddy bears done this morning before Mike & Juliet comes on. ^_^

We are having light snow falling here in Levittown. Kids were expecting more to be able to build snowmen and a snow day, but that's not happening. Streets and sidewalks are covered and it's coldddd.

I have been the weather anchor on Good Day Philadelphia since December of 1997. It's been quite a ride, and I've been extremely fortunate. I've spent much of my time during the years taking weather on location. Those experiences have afforded me so many opportunities I never would have had otherwise. I've visited countless schools and been able to show our viewers some of the positive things going on in the classrooms in our area. We've been able to focus on the many teachers working very hard, and the students who will always remember when TV came to their school. I'm also proud of encouraging our viewers to be "tourists in their own hometown." We've taken you to special spots, like the Camden Children's Garden, the Constitution Center, and hundreds more. These are places I might have procrastinated about visiting on my own, but thanks to this job, I've been able to feel so much a part of this community as the folks out there have opened their arms. How lucky am I? My daughter has been a part of this program, periodically, from the time she was six months old. And even now, people who recognize me and Nia when we're out and about remember when I did the weather from our house on her first day of kindergarten. She is in fourth grade! So many of her childhood memories are preserved on Good Day, and I am grateful. Just in the last year, we've made astounding technological changes here at Fox 29, and it's exciting to work with the very latest in state-of-the-art technology. My latest thrill is this blog. I look forward to hearing from you!
