Jimmy Carter- an embarrassment to the Democrat party, the USA and himself.

We should have known there was a problem when in 1973, while Governor of Georgia, Carter filed a report on his 1969 UFO sighting with the International UFO Bureau in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. (He saw ET?)

During this campaign Carter falsely referred to himself as a "nuclear physicist", when interviewed. (Lying about his credentials – no surprise)

In 1973 his decisions sparked an oil crisis and forced oil prices to rise sharply, spurring price inflation throughout the economy, and slowing growth

During Carter's administration, the economy suffered double-digit inflation, coupled with very high interest rates, oil shortages, high unemployment and slow economic growth. Productivity growth in the United States had declined to an average annual rate of 1 percent, compared to 3.2 percent of the 1960s. The mortgage rate during the Carter administration rose to an all time high of 18% and made the dream of owning a home for too many in the middle class unimaginable. (At 18% it is like buying your house again ever 5 years).

Carter was also criticized by the feminist author and activist Andrea Dworkin for ignoring issues of women's rights in Saudi Arabia. (didn’t have a backbone for confrontation)

Instead of clear and concrete action against the enemy, the only foreign policy Carter advocates is friendly relations with other nations, especially our enemies. (Carter never met a dictator or terrorist he didn't want to "break bread” with.)  Jimmy Carter's  Presidential decisions are an  “unbroken series of mistakes and miscalculations" punctuated by the 444 days of the Iran hostage crisis, when Carter stood passive and paralyzed, his only attempt at action ending in a pathetically under-supported, doomed rescue mission. If one were to look for a moment at which America lost credibility and respect in the world, this would be it.

It was also the moment that created the terrorist threat we face today. It allowed an Islamic theocracy to establish itself in Iran, becoming the leading sponsor of terrorism in the Middle East for the last 25 years. And it showed a generation of Muslim fanatics that terror attacks and hostage taking—the very strategies now employed by our enemies in Iraq—could defeat America. In short, Carter presided over the most important foreign-policy failure in the last quarter of a century. Yet he has the temerity to project its results onto the policies of the current administration.

Does anyone remember who brokered the 1994 deal in which the Clinton administration agreed to provided food and oil to North Korea, in exchange for its promise not to develop nuclear weapons—a promise the North Koreans promptly broke, allowing them to threaten us with a nuclear bomb today? That's right: it was Jimmy Carter.

He has also in recent years made anti-Semitic statements and has gone even as far as to deny the holocaust.

Now Jimmy Carter has made derogatory statements against a war hero, and POW prisoner. In a recent interview Carter said that “McCain was 'Milking' P.O.W. Experience”

ing_pow/2008/08/28/125962.html

Carter, I don’t know how you could make such a statement as that describing McCain’s service. Words that describe McCain are Honor, patriotism, hero, where you Jimmy Carter could only cower in the White House when up against negotiations with the Iranians.

How dare you Jimmy Carter make this statement against a hero, when you and your administration were a complete failure?

I think it's time we put Jimmy into his rocking chair, lay his quilt over his knees, and put his puppy in his lap. Oh, and make sure he has his 'Depends' on!

First he goes on a terrorist appeasement tour, then this?

Shut-up and fade away Jimmy.

It's funny how rivisionary the Democrats seem to be when it comes to the late seventies through eighties. They'll have you believe that Reagans polices were a failure whil Carter was foreign affairs genius. We all know the truth, but the lies will distort the views of those to young to remember.

I wonder how many people remember that Khomeini actually waited till Carter was out of office to release the American hostages held in Iran, and did so intentionally.

Gotta admit though, Billy was funny!

There is only one think to be grateful to Carter for............................
Without the four years of the malaise Jimmy Carter administration, we may not have been ready for Ronald Reagan who turned out to be one of the greatest Presidents ever.

So Jimmy Carter in that aspect, thank you for being such a failure as a President.

Stylegal,

Last May, I worked a media event in Southern California, and one of the speakers was Retired Israeli Military General Shimon Erem. He and former P.L.O. terrorist Walid Shoebat told the audience that Jimmy Carter is the worst president the United States has ever had, period! One of the things we are paying for miserably is the high price of oil, all thanks to that moonbat! He destroyed all ground intelligence that we had gotten over 30 years back in the 70s, and we have never recovered. He set the stage for Obama Bin Laden...oops, I mean Osama Bin Laden to seek and destroy the whole world; Carter has been a nasty meddling statesman to every president after him, including the head boo boo Bill Clinton. Yes, I must mention that womanizer as well...that moonbat even ticked the slick willies out of Bill Clinton. I thought you might find this interesting. Also Ibejim tipped me off to your blog on this moonbat.

mystere: Don't forget, we are also stuck with "Still" B-52's because Carter AXE the B-1's after spending 2 Billion dollars of the prototype's and fitting for the production runs and then killed them in favor of keeping them. If we would have had the B-1 in our fleet now we would be ride of the B-52 G and H we have now. 50 years for a bomber...geeezzzzz..

That is so true jheater909! General Erem and Walid Shoebat went through a huge laundry list of things that moonbat Carter did to destroy our sovereignty in the world, and I believe General Erem said things about the bombers. I hope "Johnny Mac" gives Moonbat Carter the royal "caining" he deserves. When Carter's time comes, they should bury him with his stinker facing up.

Back on topic about Carter, has anyone considered just how much it appears the Democrats are 'milking' Biden's terrible tragedy? Both events, McCains POW experience and Bidens loss of family, are valid and important issues that have led them to serve their country. Carter is even less of a human being now than before.

Carter is like the crazy old senile uncle that shows up at family functions. (He’s been senile for as long as he’s been in the public eye) They cringe at the sight of him. He's family so they have to let him come to the Dem's party, but they wish he would go asleep in some corner somewhere

Isn't there a home that they could put this crazy kook in?

There is a home: it's called a MOONBAT CAVE! (Har Har!). When he's in the cave, seal the entrance so that he can't escape. Time to keep "Moonbat man" away from the campaign trail...send him to Louisiana, where he can do more good for the New Orleans folks with Habitat For Humanity. Why isn't he doing some rebuilding projects...because Republican Bobby Jindal is the Governor, and his moonbat girl Kathleen Blanco committed the biggest blunders with Katrina?

By the way, Blanco is Carter's moonbat girl, just to be more clear; Jindal is no man's fool.

Bobby Jindal is a clear strong conservative, and with the help from President McCain will clean up the mess the Landreau's have made in Louisiana. Maybe they can realy clean up the south and get rid of that crazy old senile peanut farmer

By the way, for the Democrats, it's too bad Carter wasn't one of those 2 super delegates that died before the DNC. But I will admit that God is way more patient than all the people in this world put together. By the way, I think Carter soiled his Depends when McCain announced Sarah Palin as his running mate!

I believe in freedom and liberty, low taxes, less government, traditional values, a strong national defense, and the Constitution of the United States. I have done a lot of soul searching and reading about all the issues and I know there is a conservative candidate that will emerge that will bring America back to her glory, a country safe and strong enough to live in without giving up any of our rights. I do think the USA is the greatest nation on God’s green earth I believe in the "power of the ruby slippers.” I also enjoy irritating a liberal from time to time.
