Take a page from the book of John Adams. Our founding fathers knew how to parent.

So if the lessons on morality and values are not working on your child, and you have done your best, don't make excuses.

Great post! Thanks. It is our charge as parents to provide a positive and moral example to our children, it is also our charge as parents to call them out when we see them headed down a bad direction. The world is full today of kids, whose parents have coddled them and run to their defense when they did something that is wrong, blaming everyone except the kid for his wrongdoing. After placing blame on everyone else, these parents need to take a good, long look in the mirror as they are truly the ones to blame. If you don't provide a good example for your kids and then allow them to take a step in the wrong direction without even saying a word about it..... you are the real culprit... Children learn what they live.
