Miley, Britney, Lindsey or even your teenager getting out of hand.

Take a page from the book of John Adams. Our founding fathers knew how to parent.

So if the lessons on morality and values are not working on your child, and you have done your best, don't make excuses.

THE WEALTHY ARE NOT GETTING A GOVERNMENT STIMULUS/REBATE CHECK

Don't believe the lies, as it caps at a certain wage that you earn. Earn over that amount, and you don't get a check

REBATE:

Starting in May, the Treasury will begin sending economic stimulus payments to more than 130 million households. To receive a payment, taxpayers must have a valid Social Security number, $3,000 of income and file a 2007 federal tax return. IRS will take care of the rest. Eligible people will receive up to $600 ($1,200 for married couples), and parents will receive an additional $300 for each eligible child younger than 17. Millions of retirees, disabled veterans and low-wage workers who usually are exempt from filing a tax return must do so this year in order to receive a stimulus payment. *(Even if you don't file, this year,m you would file to get your check, you do need to actually do a little paper work to get that check)

If you have at least $3,000 in certain types of income, you may be eligible for the economic stimulus payment.

Determine Phase-out Reduction for SINGLE:

The phase-out levels begin at $75k and end at $87k, at a reduction of 5% per $1,000 over the lower limit. If you earn above $87k, you’re over and thus get nothing regardless of the math.

SO anyone earning OVER $87,000 will not receive a rebate or stimulus is you file SINGLE

Determine Phase-out Reduction if you file for a COUPLE:

The phase-out levels begin at $150k and end at $174, at a reduction of 5% per $1,000 over the lower limit. If you earned above $174k, you’re over and thus get nothing regardless of the math.

So do the math, the government is not giving a stimulus or rebate check to the wealthy, as it caps at a certain wage amount

$87,000 a year for a single person is not WEALTHY

$174,000 a year for a couple is not WEALTHY

The Philadelphia killing of our fine men in blue reflect on the abysmal parenting by the parents of Levon Warner, Howard Cain, and Howard Cain (the scum that murdered Sgt. Stephen Liczbinski),

the parents of John Jordan Lewis (the scum who murdered Officer Charles Cassidy),

the parents of Solomon Montgomery, (the scum who murdered Officer Gary Skerski),

and the parents of Mumia, (the scum who murdered Officer Daniel Faulkner)

Morals, values and respect of others and the law come from lessons learned from your parents. When each of those mangy murders killed one of our fine police officers, it showed not only what lowlifes these murderers are, but also what despicable lowlifes their parents are also. And we also know in the case of John Lewis that his mother not only knew, but helped to conceal the information of where her son was and about the gun that he used was her gun.

These murderers will rot in hell, and they can thank their moral less, valueless parents for the lessons that put them there.

After loosing the chance to be the first 19-0 team, the Patriots including the coach and QB couldn't even be gracious enough to offer are warm congratulations to the Giants, a team many said couldn't do it.

I am so glad Eli and team won. Eli was the better man even before the start of the game.

I think it is terrible that such a positive organization has been  given such a hard time from the city of Philadelphia. The Boy Scouts do so much to build character in the youth of today, where society and many parents seem to drop the ball.

There was one incident of where the scouts were hiking in the woods and came upon a woman who was seriously hurt. The all came together and with the skills they learned in scouting carried the woman for miles to safety and to additional medical help. Without the boy scouts that woman would more than likely have died.

Boy (and Girl) Scouts builds a great foundation for the youths, and those that were scouts are a much better citizen in society.

Philadelphia now wants to burden this fine group. They have for years paid a token rental  for their headquarters in Philadelphia. But Philadelphia has reaped the rewards in many ways by having them in the city.

Now they want to raise the rent because Jannie Blackwell and others in city council don't like the rules about gays not allowed in Boy Scouting. The scouts cannot afford this escalated rent. Also the Boy Scouts have improved this property with many upgrades, and it only helps the neighborhood that this office is located in. If I were in charge of the boy scouts, I would not cave in to the lives of Jannie Blackwell and others and change my rules, I would move it to one of the suburbs that would appreciate this fine organization in their zip code.

RESPONSE TO: Uptownzdutchess from Philly's A must read

I do not agree - ANYONE who brings a gun with them to commit a crime intends to kill if it is them or the other person in a standoff.

If it was not a police officer and it was someone who was defending their property/business and they had a gun for protection, the criminal who brings the gun to commit a crime and shoots the proprietor/owner would intend to use the gun.

And a police officer who works on the police force to protect and serve the general population, and is killed in the line of duty, it is twice as bad, as they put their life on the line everyday to protect the citizens.

You never heard that Lewis family letting the police know his whereabouts. And his mother must have known as they found the guns in her house. And the cousin drove him to Wilmington to escape. I would not doubt, that his mother (even though she is a peace officer) probably called the cousin to get Lewis out of town.

Yes, a manhunt was warranted.

Yes, they should go after the death penalty for Lewis. A long sentence for the cousin, and I would look into arresting the mother
