According to polls Clinton should not have won the Pennsylvania Primary by more than 7 points.  Now I trust the voting process so that’s not where I’m going with this.  I think that the main reason we are seeing this happen again and again in this election process is that we have a candidate who is riding on the wings of one hell of a first impression.  It seems to me the honey moon is over and the pied piper of the youthful vote may accomplish nothing more than giving us a reprieve from any more Clintons or Bush's.

People make the statement a lot that this country can’t take 4 more years of Republicans in power.  If you ask me I don’t think this country can take 4 more years of Clintons in power but one thing is sure… if we elect the Clintons again we all seem to believe we will see a time of economic prosperity like we did under their rule already.

Hillary raised 3 million dollars overnight and much ado is made about how Obama out spent her 3 to 1.  (11 million to 5 million somehow works out to 3 to 1… democrat math I guess).

Anywho…

I hope my prediction of a quick Clinton demise by scandal comes true… on April 25th if she isn’t dropping out of the race then I’ll have to quit my job at the psychic friends network… which, by the way prospered mightily during Hillary’s years as a bible believing psychic consulting first lady.  But that’s just my bitter conservative hypocrisy talking.

"...Hillary must know that she cannot possibly win the nomination by any rational standard. Hence the comic moment on Tuesday when her finance chairman Terry McAuliffe was asked to define what Mrs Clinton would invoke as a fair claim on the Democratic nomination. McAuliffe said it would either be a victory in the popular vote in Democratic primaries and caucuses -- including Michigan and Florida – (a very remote contingency) or a lead in the pledged delegates (an impossibility) or a lead among Superdelegates (among whom, since March 6, HRC has collected 12 and Obama 88) or there would be a consensus among party leaders that Obama is incapable of beating McCain. Obama is still ahead of McCain, though thanks to Mrs Clinton’s efforts the margin is narrowing.

In other words there’s no rational scenario here, except the one suggested here by St Clair a month ago that her real aim is to ensure a McCain victory this year and come back in 2012.

In two weeks comes the Indiana primary which will probably be close. Obama is likely to win North Carolina, South Dakota, Montana and Oregon. Hillary will most likely win West Virginia, Kentucky and Puerto Rico. At the end of the day Obama ends up 150-160 pledged delegates ahead of her, and about a 500,000 edge in the popular vote. He will have won about 32 states against HRC’s 20.

So on we straggle."

No she's not and yes she can.

All Barack has to do is concede the race to her. It can happen. The same poetic impression I have of her quitting the race to save face can happen to Barack and many are suprised it hasn't already.

After all hasn't Hannity proved Barack Obama is a racist? His wife hates America and he doesn't hold his hand over his heart during the pledge of alligence to the flag. And lastly couldn't we have come up with a real red blooded American Negro to run for president? You know... one with a pronouncable slave name and who wasn't the son of immigrants like Colin Powell?

NO... I'd love to see an African American run for the Presidency. I can't wait! Maybe in 20 more years... you know... give Americans a chance to be ready for one.

statueman It looks to me like a lot of Americans are ready now for a Black President from what I see first hand. Who said it would be a cake walk. And certaintly not for a black man who has to be three times as good as any one else.I see some continues to keep race as the front issue for everyone to be reminded, butI thought it was time to move to another subject but this continues to keep coming up.

I think Americans would welcome a black President, just not sure if that man is Obama. He seems rather naive about a lot of issues, and he's making several mistakes lately on the campaign trail (especially in Pennsylvania).

At some point, a deal is going to have to be struck, and the Dems are going to have ask themselves...who gives us the best chance to beat John McCain? The person who they think is that candidate, gets the nomination, and the other person gets some concession prize.

Aaaahh don't listen to me. I'm just feeling alittle bitter. But Praise God I'm going to visit my cousins in the Ozarks and we're planning on going coon huntin. Yeah...

ddain, yup... and the silent majority think just as you do. At least I think they do... it may be that I talk too much to know.

media... I'm just sad, you know, bitter because I can't help feeling embarrassed watching this election with Bill calling Obama on playing the race card and then saying he said nothing of the sort. Guess he wanted to trump the race card with the joker... that is how it works when you play spades, right? I could keep that one going but I might mix a metaphor or two. Suffice it to say when I go to church this Sunday I might just miss the fact that I'm not at the one in Chicago. Republican Christian rhetoric can be just as bad. Guess I'll just focus on the family and pretend the ghetto's don't exsist.

Coon hunting? Is that a slip of the tongue, or just a poor choice of words?

I'm not even going to mention the Spades remark.

Voodoodog

I'm pointing at underlying racial sentiment hidden in the double reverse racism of those who call many educated and highly placed black people reverse racist. Also I'm practicing at trying to be subtle... But like most Americans my subtlety is overcome with an overwhelming desire to be politically incorrect.

Take your questions for example... you're looking for the big hairy monster but you're not sure if you've found one or not so you bring motive in question using a limited choice question. By the way... Have you stopped beating your kids? (Either way you answer that the die is already cast...)

I think I've found the big hairy monster, and her name is Hillary. And, yes, I still continue to beat my kids on a regular basis just to remind them who's in charge. Screw being subtle... tell it like it is. We're all adults here, even though sometimes we don't act it.

Some funny digs at words here Statueman and Voodoo Dog! But now I'll get to my point quickly.

I've been getting emails from Newsmax.com, and it appears that Rush Limbaugh is taking some credit for the Hillary Clinton wins in Pennsylvania. He's been urging his listeners to register as Democrats, then vote for Hillary, so that the in fighting would continue until the bitter end. Whether that's the cause remains to be seen, but I'm finding this rather comical. It reminds me of the years when the Republicans had at it, while the Democrats stayed focused. It looks like the tables have turned over, and it keeps rolling over and over for the Democrats. I just might do another political post with a sense of humor in it...my follow up to the "my condolences blogs" (this time for MyFoxPhilly)...and who knows what I'll put in it? The other two are now in the archives.

Also...Kudos to you, Craftyguy, Jay, Media, and ddain!

By the way, voodoodog, do you have any blogs?

Yeah... Brook got lucky if you ask me.

Anyway... I'm glued to the TV waiting for Hillary to drop out of the race to save face. It's the 25th you know... In stead all I'm seeing is Wright with Moyers and Hamas endorsing Obama. Yikes ... from my January 2007 blog "A Muslim for President?"

OK, so here's my poetic take on it. Don't worry, Senator Barack Obama will not become the next president. Hillary won't either. We will elect John Mc Cain and the vote will not be split he will win decisively. However the war in Iraq will escalate and we will be embroiled in a border war with Iran before the year 2009. At this time Senator Barack Obama will go to the middle east and broker a peace treaty that will be widely accepted as one of the most ingenious idea's since the Declaration of Independence.

Only a white racist pig would expect a Black person to just jump ship even though they are ahead in EVERY FREAKING WAY and give it to the white woman/man.

Yeah right, just give the nomination to the loser (in so many ways) so we can have 10 more 9/11's, god only knows how many sex scandals and of course, Hillary's brother eating the country out of food, AGAIN.

Hill and Bill are the 2 biggest liars in the country but all they have to do is tell those same lies over and over and my god look how many damn fools buy it. There are some really dumb fools in this country.
