I’m from Los Angeles and usually blog on myfox Los Angeles.

Hello to all you myfox bloggers and reporters in Dallas!

Lately I keep getting the idea that perhaps the Amish or Mennonites can help with the recent problems Texas is having with questioning the polygamist children and young mothers.  It seems to me that folks who exclude themselves from society to practice a form of Christianity that sets itself apart from the modern world are not all bad.  And let’s face it… many Amish and Mennonite communities command much respect with little to no scandal that I’ve ever heard of.

Perhaps legal officials in Texas would do well to call upon these communities and ask for help.  In my thoughts a young child or mother would see the kindred spirit of such people and perhaps open up and tell of any abuses they’ve been suffering.

Just a thought but I do ask that if you are in the system there in Texas and can pass this suggestion on then please do.  I am convinced that it will help.

Well that’s all for you fine gun toting bible thumpers down there in Texas!  Senator Obama thinks you guys eat too much Grapefruit.  Nothin’ but love for ya’ll and please say hi to Hank Hill for me….

The basic problem this cult has is marrying under ages girl (illegal throughout the country) and having multiple wives (illegals throughout the country). Other than that, if ppl want to be in wacky, goofy, dangerous cults, guess it's there business.
Asking another cult or goofy religion for assistant... ain't gonna happ'n. THIS IS TEXAS, after all. :))

Hank is doing fine... send his best (I'm sure) and says that the Bomer & the Bill-ary can "blow it out their ____" or someun like that. He votes Republican, don't ya know.

I have a .357 Magnum resting atop the family Bible. I'd be willing to bet King David had a sword resting on his scrolls. lol The Philistine leader was probably named Hussein.

chardoney hey!

My only recommendation is that folks who live a secluded self sufficeint christian life style would be more psychicly capable of developing the trust needed to get answers to the necessary questions.

Thanks for the Welcome to Texas but unfortunately I'm living in Los Angeles for now. But soon I'll be coming to get some of that propane and propane accessories.

Wow, I have never read or heard of the Amish/Mennonites having multiple wives(under the age of consent, basically baby rapers) having multiple children living in the same household. The children being raised by all the multiple wives they don't know which one is their biological mother.
So I really don't see how the above said groups could help in this situation.
Although they do dress alike hummmmmmm.
Go hang ten dude or catch a wave.

BloggingYaddaYadda,

Well... it's just a very strong feeling on my part having studied cult groups from a young age... I would actually join them and CA has more then it's share.

But Amish and Mennonites don't practice polygamy as far as I know.

Seriously what I'm alluding to is the personality type that developes in seperate societies. It's something about the eyes that can only be found in people of like minds and similar situations.

This impression won't let me go until I've passed it on to someone who can use it. Have any of you ever had a perception like that? Perhaps I should get back on my medication...

Then write our great Governor Rick Perry and tell him your ideas. I am so sure he would love all the help they can get in this situation. Sorry I don't have his e-mail addy, but you can google it.
Oh and an FYI never stop your medication with out your doctors approval or unless you are having an allergic reaction.

Statue, you certainly seem a little off-beat. We could use more off-beat, so stick around!

Eat too many grapefruits? Obama can kiss my grits! Grapefruits are for sissy's maybe he's had one too many.

Got my guns locked and loaded. Don't leave home without them. Licensed by the 2nd amendment first some stupid unconstitutional law second.

The men and women involved need to be arrested and charged with crimes against children. Don't need some other mamby pamby cult coming here to talk to our criminals we have our own ways of dealing with these types. Remember Waco?

HANK!!!! Where that man get off to now? Must be filling up the propane tank and tossing back a brew with the neighbors.

Welcome to Texas change out of those sneakers and Dockers.

And what BYY said about the meds.

Ok ok jumped all over that med comment just in case I was being serious huh?

But that's part of my point in writing this. Are we so blind as to not see that there are people in this free land who do not act and live the way most of us do. The freedom for the Amish to be Amish sets us apart. As long as you aren't breaking any laws, especially the laws protecting children it's ok to live a life of religious freedom.

Christianity is a religion with many cults within it. And correct me if I'm wrong but Christianity is by definition a cult. I believe in the man who spoke the Sermon on the Mount with all my heart and totally believe that if I heard a man speak words like that I could remember them verbatim.

Children who have been raised on those words will recognize the spirit of those words in others. I submit that there are some Christian cults that are better... more merciful and more productive and gentle then others.

I am not aware of any religion with the exception of this one that promotes sexual abuse of a child. I don't think they are a religion just hiding behind the name.

HA I knew it!! They did show up with the armour troop carrier and assult rifles.
