Ok, first things first, Alferd E Newman (AKA Gov. Bush) was not voted in the first time. The Supreme Court GAVE him the office. The second time was due the voting machines and the issues with them. He has not won a fair election as president, IMO.

Second, your god must have a serious sense of humor to have Bush as president. The man is more corrupt than any polition that has ever lived. Oh wait, he is not president, Cheney and Rove were in charge of everything.  Bush is just a figurehead for those behind the scenes.

Bush lied to America to get his was with Iraq. He is now making it a point to take away all of our consitutional rights. I thought we were guaranteed certain rights within the Constitution. Something along the lines of a right to a fair trial? Not to mention the evesdropping that can occur secretly.

I am sorry but I have a lot of problems knowing I could be picked up at any time and be accused of an 'enemy combatant' because I do not follow the same lock step as the rest of the drones. And once I am picked up, I can disappear with no trial.

This, to me, reminds me of Russia during the Cold War or Nazi Germany. Bush has put us on a very slippery slope that could lead this great country to someplace where it does not want to go.

You are delusional. Still banging the “he didn’t really win” whiner drum huh. Even people who know what they are talking about let that go after all the recounts proved who won. He won…we are better off for it…Your Welcome. Liberals are always trying to save the world from itself. I guess this time the world saved the liberals from themselves by electing the right man for President.

I am far from delusional. I consider myself to be a pretty rational person.

And how can you say we are better off with him winning? Is it the higher gas/oil/food/every day necessities prices? The threat of your own government throwing in jail for no reason? Stupid rules at the airport that make no sense to a rational human? Thousands of lifes being lost in an unjust war? The deliberate way the Executive branch ignores the Constitution? The threat of all out world war in Iran?

Which one of these questions make it a better place for me or my family?

MMMM Wal-Mart wants to sell at lower prices but Liberals complain. Have to pay higher prices Liberal complain. Workers want more pay and better benefits so businesses have to raise their prices, Liberals complain. When were you threatened to be thrown in jail for no reason? Can't believe you even said "stupid rules" at the airport. Dahhhhh, 9/11, you do want to prevent another one or are you that much of a thrill seeker, being hijacked and thrown into a building is what you call a fun day at the park. Your opinion it is an unjust war. Your opinion the Executive Branch ignores the Constitution. Let's vote for Obama, he wants to bomb Pakistan, no he changed his mind to can't make up his mind. No No let's vote for Hilliary, she wants nukes off or on the table this week? So hard to keep up with her.
Liberals, they want their cake and eat it, then complain how they got fat because they are doing nothing.

Carl Rove, Sunday on fox, he was asked several questions that he responded to by telling the reporter quote: (nice try)and then refused to answer the question basicly taking the 5th...But who knows? I personally think ole George SR, IS BEHIND THE WAR, I also beleve he is George JR's
cheif of staff...Carl rove is an overweight campaign manager that will wind up on someone else's campaign wagon...The damage is way to great to control on Bush now so his work was done..

As far as my thoughts on Cheney go...How many things have you heard this man did that were positive? Anything and everything I've heard or seen about this oil tycoon has been negitive..So whats understood does not need to be discussed...But I think we will survive just fine when the democrats take over next year..

mmmmm- lets see- clinton said there was wmds al gore said it their spy agencies said it mmmm so clinton is blameless and blame everything on our good president. clinton's liberal cronies would not let the intelligence services share information thereby crippling them-for what reason- they want this country to fail because they think we dont deserve our God given place in this world. or do you guys want al gore in office and u.n. troups stationed her in this country? and it would be against our constitution. praise the Lord and pass the ammo.

When the democrats take over NOTHING WILL BE DONE.
Peloski said they were going to make great changes in 90 days - the only change that was made was she bought herself a new jet to fly from Washington D.C. to California.
I am glad the cowards were not in office when 9/11 hit - nothing would have been done then either. The next war will be fought on our land if the democrats are in office. By the time they make up their mind to take action we all will be speaking another language.

squirrelboy, there is one thing with which I disagree with you!

You say, "Bush has put us on a very slippery slope that could lead this great country to someplace where it does not want to go".

I say we're already there.

Of course, you're going to get the usual knee-jerk responses from the remaining fringes of the far-right. A pathetic bunch, from what I can tell. They call us delusional for seeing the truth. Well, the truth hurts them, so they have to think of something! Simple FACT is, GWB received LESS popular votes in the election in 2000, yet won due to the trickery of the Electoral College and the manipulation of a very small number of votes by the Republican election officials in Florida. The electoral votes in Florida went his way, giving him the kingdom - er, I mean the presidency, by a small, still disputed number of questionable votes.

I think after all the trickery and deceit by this administration, it makes it more obvious who was cheating in that election.

And SeniorCitizen thinks under the Democrats NOTHING will be done? Man, that would be GREAT compared to the damage being done daily to our liberties, economy and yes, morals and family values by the Republican hypocrites.

And please, ultra conservatives, don't bring the world into this. It may be only 60% here, but about 95% of the rest of the world hates Bush and our country's arrogant attitude since he's been our dictator.

So, squirrelboy, thanks for the thought-provoking response to "Thank God", but what can you expect from someone who closes with "Praise the Lord and pass the

Thank you SikUvThe Rite, you have nicely stated what I have been trying to get across on my post. I normally do not get into political debates but this is one I could not stand by and watch.

As for as Wal-mart, I am proud to shop there and I love the low prices! I will never complain when the prices are low.

And as for as the airport, just ask Chris Higgins about his son. His son cannot fly until every little hurdle is passed because of his NAME! He is just a kid and should not be on the do not fly list!!! But no, because of a magical combination of letters he cannot fly.

And the other stupid rules, no juice for kids in a sippy cup, no breast milk for babies not unless the mother DRINKS her own milk, no nail clippers, stripping searching grandmother's in wheelchairs... . Where is the sanity in all of this?

I have not been threatened to be throw in jail. However, Bush has the power to deem ANYONE an enemy combatant which means jail and no trial. Hello!!! This goes against the Constitution you so much have ignored!

And for as the 'cowards' not doing anything... what did Bush do when 9/11 occurred? He IGNORED it and continued to read to the kids like nothing happened. He only then left to go into hiding, which I can understand security policies. However, all he did is make great speeches and really did nothing.

His policies have not been able to find a 6'5" man, in the desert, with kidney problems as of yet! Trust me, he had the support of the world for help in getting Bin Laden but he just ignored the world and did his own thing. And now no o

Carefull now, you could hurt their feelings. People that worship Bush, Cheney and Limbaugh can`t think for themselves. The President is touting a war with Iran at this moment. He already threatened Pakistan last week. Freedom`s just another word that means nothing to these "leaders" that only want for themselves, not this country.

Top Senate Democrats have started to acknowledge progress in Iraq, with the chairman of the Armed Services Committee yesterday saying the U.S. troop surge is producing "measurable results."

Hmm! What is going here! I thought the left said the war was lost. Bush is an idiot, troop surge will not work.

You are blaming Bush for what you should be blaming the terrorist for. The terrorist are the ones who want to kill Americans.

The Electorial College was inplace long before Bush won the election. If you thought the Electorial College was so bad you should have opened your mouth long before Bush even got elected.

Flaglady - you're right. The Electoral College has been a bad idea for a long time. Like many things, we are the only "democracy" who has that concept with the effect of sometimes dilluting votes in close elections in favor of more populated states.

It's just that, in most cases, the outcome is the same and correctly reflects the votes of the people.

In Bush's case, as in only one or two others in America's history (anyone have the details I have forgotton from high school?), the Electoral College did not work and the man with fewer popular votes won.

And the rest will be an unsavory chapter in our history.

squirrelboy you do not like the security features set in place to protect the Americans at the airport from terrorists - it sounds like to me you ate one nut too many. Why would you complain about the security to protect us from terrorists????? Was you in a coma during 9/11 or just asleep?? Do you realize what the Presidents duties are during such an attack??? He is not like Obama he takes care of 50 states NOT JUST CHICAGO (Obama does not know southern Illinois is still Illinois) or in this case NEW YORK. Bush could have done the same thing Clinton done - he could have hid in the office with an intern. Bin Laden should have been gotten by Clinton - but he was too busy at that time defending his position with the intern or just afraid to do anything. It was easier to ignore than to take action.

SeniorCitizen, I think your age has messed with your mind just a little too much. You did not read what I had said in my previous posts.

I disagree with the way security is handled. Why go after women, children and the older folks at the airport? We know who the terrorist were and are, why are we not targeting them at the airports? Why can Mohammad walk through with no problems but someone, like CHRIS HIGGINS CHILD, gets detained? Because we are afraid of hurting someones feelings.

I was not asleep or in a coma during 9/11. I sat at work in awe wondering what was going to happen next. And as I said, in my previous post, Bush did what he did because of security protocols.
