With Bush's approval rating at 28%, and with and 18% approval rating for Congress, which is worse.  This comes in light of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's comments that President Bush is a failure.  This was her response to Bush's comment that Congress has failed with only 26 days left in session to act on any spending bills.  This appears to be the latest that Congress has ever waited on approving spending bills.  I'm sure there is more to the story, but Nancy "PATHETIC" Pelosi, along with Senate Majority Leader Harry "RIPOFF" Reid, aren't holding anything back.  Now they have taken the criticism to new levels, not just about W's policies, but personal attacks.

It seems to me that both are failures in light of their approval ratings.  So is Bush a failure? Is Congress a failure?  Or are both to blame.

Both are to blame... but the buck has to stop somewhere ..and that somewhere is with George W Bush.. With Bush totally unwilling to work with Congress he is digging his own legacy ..He will be remembered as the worst president in history..People will study his mistakes and there will be Poli Sci classes on how not to screw up a country

Bottom line is not many people in this country accept personal accountability for their own actions. No matter what side of the fence you sit on we need to get P.A. back in this country.

We are under NO Obligation to co-operate with THIS President who was "Selected NOT Elescted"..

THAT was Harry Reid after the 2000 election..

SO much for all this "Bush totally unwilling to work with Congress" BS....

And it's AMAZING that under BUSH it's "the Buck Stops HERE" while under Clinton It was "MOVE ON,,,It's NONE of YOUR BUSINESS" and LEGAL Defense Funds.....

CONGRESS has ALWAYS had a Greater Influence OVER and therefore a Greater Impact ON Domestic Affairs then does the Presidency..
It IS,, in fact,, the WHOLE Purpose of HAVING a Congress...

Whereas,,the ORIGINAL and at ONE time,,the ONLY,, purpose of having a President was to handle Affairs of State as they relate to OTHER GOVERNMENTS and THEIR Heads of State.....

Congress did not start the war. Bush/Chaney/Haliburton did.

I seem to recall that when the war started we had full support and commitment from our president ..down to house and senate, OVERWHELMING support! Bush did not start this war..OSBinLaden did, and way before Bush ever took office! Come on people open the history books, if your memory fails you so bad!

Time to vote out allll current Congress. I dont care if the Commy Green party would win as a result. KIDDING!! But these clowns who have low poll numbers keep getting elected.

WHO IS at FAULT..... US.

First Who ways its "Unneccessary?" I can show you UN Resolutions that REQUIRE us to engage if they are breached.. UN and coalition forces had a cease-fire agreement that was breached as early as 93. We did NOTHING for 8 years.

3 Billion a month? How about 140 Billion a year snatched from DOD by Clinton, BUT STILL WORKING US AT A EVEN LARGER CAPACITY!! Thats more than 10 BILLION a month of back pay times over ten years! (Do your homework on Defense budgets and from the bottom of 1997 on...)

I suggest you take your own advice and do ALL your research before you try to take a talking point and stretch it.... b4 YOU commment BACK...

Be right back. I need to purchase a larger screen so it will fit UCFPoliSciGuru's GROSSLY exaggerated opinion of himself.

Geez, with all his knowledge I would think Harvard or Yale would have scooped him up.
But wait...it's what you "actually know" not what you "think" you know. I'll always know when he's about to blog as his ego will arrive 2 hours before his blog.

BTW.. UCFPoliSciGuru.. your profile is not availed to anyone. That PoliSci professor is obviously not teaching you freedom of speach or ethics here. While we all enjoy good debate, I think you better start checking yourself before you come in here. While you are a student now, many here have already graduated and continued to practice.

I think we need to give this guy a nickname... I say Grasshopper fits! Ahh yes.. young grasshopper, you are a fine student. Continue your study.. and wisdom here will help you sort it out.

I think what we should do is copy all of Grasshopper's great work here, with all the respectful, and abundant mannerisms, and e-mail them over the the Dean of Students at UCF! Let them know their finest students have arrived here. Grasshopper could be made radical liberal student of the year or something!

Matter of fact, I think I will start collecting all this fine work over the weekend!
I REALLY would like to see what professor of political science will own up to this kid!

Well grasshopper.. I have no less than 4 tours in the sand myself with NAVSPECWAR working for SOCOM long before you. Those countries that you say don't want to be involved were caught in the food for oil program too. Al-Qaeda was EVERYWHERE. Your facts hardly get past the skin of the apple. Iran in fact does NOT have a right to nukes as they are not following any IAEA guidelines as EVERY OTHER nuke nation does. The "bullied" nations you refer to are also signed members of coalition forces from Desert Stom cease-fire and UN resolutions. Holding them to their word is not being bullied. North Korea now is conforming, and until they are recognized by the IAEA they have shut down. You facts are outdated grasshopper. BTW- I've seen alot more than 4 die in my over 20 years, carried my share of munitions and weapons, and operated in fashion that would raise the hair on most people's necks, but it in now way allows me a stronger voice than anyone else. It gives me a perspective most have not been privliged to have.. thats all. You were NOT drafted, therefore stop your crying grasshopper. Funny how you dismiss McCain's service as a qualifier, but in here you think yours does? Typical liberal hypocrite..

BTW.. I believe I just might have to contact UCF and find out if we have a renegade professor spouting off. I think everyone should take notice of anyone that is using an education forum to spew propaganda.

Hoo-Yah! Grasshopper.. The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday!

Abunai, don't waste your time on this kid, one day when he grows up he will probably wise up. Most young kids have the liberal mindset. For the majority, with age comes wisdom, so there is still some hope for him and the rest of his generation.

GRASSHOPPER....."So 9/11 might've been deserving"...

Tell me you just didn't type those words? Better yet send your email to all those who lost loved ones on that day...include your address as well. I'm sure they'd love to meet you.

Yes, you would support Obama as you apparently have no love for America either.

"So 9/11 might've been deserving"-why don't you have those words put under your picture in the big UCF yearbook.

I think grasshopper wants to be a tabloid editor. Just the way his typing is like reading the cover of a tabloid..think you need to change your major, you make a fine Tabloid headliner.
Is this dude for real???

my question is..wasnt the reason why we entered into the war against terrorism because of what happened on 9/11? if thats the case how did we end up in iraq? the people responsible for 9/11 were from saudi arabia..why havent we attacked saudi arabia..before iraq was attacked there was no such thing as insurgents..we the us are the ones responsible for all the insurgents in iraq...and who is the one responsible for this mess...GEORGE W BUSH

Abunai read my blog view my photos

NO KISSHANK! The reason we are in Iraq is because Sadaam had breached the Cease-Fire resolutions of Desert Storm! The confusion comes from the fact we should have re-engaged as early as 1993, but Clinton refused to lift a finger for 8 full years! The plans to remove Sadaam, and start Iraq a new govt. were actually drawn up by the Clinton administration, but never executed! Bush came into office and it just so happend that 9/11 and Iraq had to be delt with at the same time.

Liberals have tried to put the two together for years and it has NEVER been the case! Thanks to a biased media however the citizens now think they are.....

Just as Germany in WWII had NOTHING to do with Imperial Japan, but we fought both at the same time! Germany like Al_Qaeda had been attacking us for a while before we finally were forced to act after Pearl Harbor. Japanese upset because we cut them off from oil matter of fact...

Before Iraq was attacked "insurgents" were killing us in Somolia, Uwanda, Mogadishu(sp), African Embassys, Yeman, Saudia Arabia, etc.

We are no more responsible for "insurgents" in Iraq than any of the fore mentioned locations!
