There seems to be a lot of concern around the country about "Joe the Plumber" the man that McCain made famous overnight.  And I must admit that I have recently become at least curious about what the future holds for him.

"Joe" is now a regular on the McCain campaign trail and holds a prominent position on the stage of each venue.

It is most probable that the McCain campaign is footing the bill for his travel, lodging, etc. and he might even be making some decent money as a talk show guest here and there.  But what about his future?

If Obama wins,
"Joe" may have to return to being a plumber's helper or to actually meet the requirements in order to become a real licensed plumber.  There are also fascinating scenarios such as him being discovered by Hollywood and becoming a movie  hero.  Stranger things have obviously happened.

If McCain wins,
it could be a whole different world for "Joe."  He has already been thrust into the national spot light, so what could be next?  Would he be a prominent member of McCain's administration, perhaps the Treasury Secretary, or Secretary of State?

What does the future hold for "Joe the Plumber?"

If he's seen Russia from afar, he could be the Vice President.

This is circulating pn the net/
Dear Fellow Business Owners

As a Business owner who employs 30 people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barack Obama, will be our next President, and that my Taxes and Fees, will go up in a BIG way.

To compensate for these increases, I figure, that the customer, will have to see an increase in my fees to them of about, 8%. I will also have to lay off six of my employees. This really bothered me as I believe we are family here and didn't know how to choose who will have to go. So, this is what I did. I strolled thru the parking lot and found eight Obama bumper stickers on my employees cars. I have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off.

I can't think of another fair way to approach this problem. If you have a better idea, let me know. I am sending this letter to all business owners that I know.

Sincerely
Ward JOOA Corp.

Interesting approach.

That isn't what I hear! I heard that "JOE" is not only a plumber, but the man can sing! He may be getting a recording contract which would make him more money then the plumbing business so he may be may be hanging up his plumbing belt for a microphone instead!

Why are you people so threatened by Joe, he doesn't have dinner dates with terrorists, Joe has never made a racist remark about his Grandmother either. So none of you have anything to worry about.

What do you call a country when a Party finds it necessary to intrude in the life of a concerned citizen who asks a simple question of a politician running for President regarding a policy that may have an adverse affect on his financial future?

Joe the plumber?

Why worry about someone else?

Your goal should be to make people around you feel good about themselves.

To 1foxblog: Sorry about your business arrangements, if Obama becomes President. To Vlad: I agree..."make people around you feel good about themselves." As an ordained minister, I hear so many people about lost jobs, homes, and opportunities to pay bills. I WANT TO HELP! Let me know IF I can help in any way. 1foxblog, didn't you read the blog? It is a "serious" blog about the possible future of another human being "joe the Plumber."

There has a public interest in Joe the Pumber that rivals or exceeds that of Sarah "Joe six pack" Palin.

The continuous attempts to employ half-truth scare tactics is a desperate attempt to "win" over voters. If you have a strong candidate, he or she should be able to win on his or her own positions, proposals, etc. without the need for such scare tactics and attacks on the other candidate.

Borntobewild, maybe he can sing, but does he have a "head" for country music?

Ernie had a hit song about a coal miner and "sixteen tons," maybe "Joe" can write one about plumbing or clogged pipes. A little bit of "toilet humor" here is tempting.

Have you read this? It is long, but just what we were talking about the other day.

"If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation
gone under." Ronald Reagan

Please read all of this. It is history being repeated. The original letter is the last section in BLue. the fact about the childern is hitting home to some of what I have been watching on TV. All I ask is that you read with an open mind. Hugs regina

Those of us who have read and studied history or lived in a time when our country was seriously threatened by hostile nations can, in all probability, recognize that the person who wrote the body of this message was either there or she learned the lesson of Nazi Germany well.

Some of you will probably see this message more than once. For that I apologize. But I feel strongly that our country is suffering and I didn't serve America to see that occur. With all that has recently happened and is happening to our country such as the courts making law instead of interpreting it; the criminal corruption of many of our politicians; pork barrel politics instead of what is best for this country of ours; extreme bias by news outlets and the general malaise and laziness of our citizenry to insure that our freedoms are always considered first when any policy, law or threat is made toward us, I felt it was appropriate for me to send this message on just as I received it. I hope you will read it and think about what it says. If you agree with it then we should stand up as one and declare that this count

At least it seems to have provided hope for the majority of Americans according to the latest polls. If psychology and hope is enough, things may improve. However, I think that the house of cards is such that few things can save us from economic chaos and the social ills that will accompany it.....such as rising crime and desperate moves on everyone's part.......I hope that I am wrong, but I see an ultimate collapse of our monetary system if something isn't done to reduce the national debt and trade deficit. Inflation is lurking..
