As I passed a news stand this morning I noticed a headline about President Bush proposing a summit of world leaders in November to find a  solution to the present economic crisis.

This was startling news to me, because I thought that the administration had already figured out a solution and was getting $750 Billion to do the job.

Does this indicate that all of the bail-out money that is being distributed by the Administration is not according to a carefully devised plan?

In other words, doesn't the administration already have a plan?

Or can we expect much of our tax money to be squandered with little if any meaningful result for taxpayers?

No Plan. Just more wasteful spending.

Right now the US is in talks with the IMF to Borrow money.

We are on the verge of hyperinflation as seen in some 3rd world countries. The bottom has not fallen out yet, but it will.

When is FOX going to fix this website. They had a perfectly working website, and now it's all screwed up. New is not always better, this is case in point.

The flip side, but also undesired is deflation which is a distinct possibility according to some of economists.

If the world-wide crisis was supposedly caused by the housing market in the U.S., why is Bush looking to leaders of undeveloped countries to come up with a fix?

Don't we have enough experts right here in our own country who should have been consulted during the development of a plan and the strategies for implementing it? I thought that we occupied a leadership position in the world.

Only now are some of the White House staff starting to admit that SOME areas of our country may be experiencing a recession. LOL

Imagine that! I've been looking for a fix too.

I'd like a fix for this stupid XHTML - CSS
global footer showing up on top of the comment
box or over the comments themselves in threads.

And in the individual blogs, the global footer
is fixed at the bottom of a fixed space page
so the page stops after the 1st or 2nd thread.
Can't scroll down to the rest of the threads.
Goofy programmers.

The only "fix" Bush can get now....comes from a needle.

Tell me again why he wasn't impeached?

Politics, plus the fact that if he had been impeached Cheney would occupy the White House.
