Something I hadn't thought about before.  I went to vote today.  I wasn't asked to show one piece of identification.  I said to the clerk, "That's absolutely ridiculous, isn't it?"  You have to show identification for everything else!

Couldn't you weather guys make it rain for the weekend?  A flood would be nice.  The last time it flooded the Harley dealer in Thiensville.  That would make my weekend.

I wonder if people realize that there is a Page 2 to Beautiful Sight. It is very misleading because of the space for comments at the end of Page 1.

Our pastor and his wife have a gay son.  He and his partner have adopted two oriental boys.  He said in his sermon this morning that when their son "came out" to them, he knew in his mind that it was alright but that his gut told him something else.  Then one day they were invited to a party at his son's house.  He said most of the guests were gay or lesbian and they all had adopted kids.  They were watching the kids play in the yard when a straight lady sitting next to him said "Isn't that a beautiful sight!"  The kids were black and white and everything in between, and they were all playing together.  He said that's when he knew it was really alright.

 I'm sitting here and listening to the rumble of Harleys all day long till my head is about to split because the Harley dealor in Thiensville is having a party.  (Not to mention that most of them are illegally souped up which the police refuse to do anything about).

Then I turn on the news and I hear about that stupid Harley museum over and over again!  I've had it up to you know where with Harleys.

Then I hear about Festa Italiana which I would love to go to because they have such beautiful music, but I can't because it's so excruciatingly loud.  My ears just can't take it.

Why must everything be so ungodly loud?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When you pick up anything in a grocery store, the list of ingredients is a half mile long.  Some of them don't even sound edible.  But I assume that most of them have a  fairly good reason to be there.  But why the h--- do I have to eat food coloring?

I don't understand why everybody dumps on fast food.  I don't think that fast food restaurants are any worse than any other.  They're all bad.  But most have some good choices.  McDonalds has a grilled chicken sandwich that comes on whole wheat bread, whereas Outback has cheese fries with more than a day's worth of calories in one serving. 

I would love to see restaurants have to post calories on their menus.
