scottythecomic's whimsical rantings

Notice to All American Workers:

As of November 5, 2008, when President Obama is officially elected into office, our company will instill a few new policies which are in keeping with his new, inspiring issues of change and fairness:

1. All salespeople will be pooling their sales and bonuses into a common pool that will be divided equally between all of you. This will serve to give those of you who are underachieving a ‘fair shake.’

2. All low level workers will be pooling their wages, including overtime, into a common pool, dividing it equally amongst yourselves. This will help those who are ‘too busy for overtime’ to reap the rewards from those who have more spare time and can work extra hours.

3. All top management will now be referred to as ‘the government.’ We will not participate in this ‘pooling’ experience because the law doesn’t apply to us.

4. The ‘government’ will give eloquent speeches to all employees every week, encouraging it’s workers to continue to work hard ‘for the good of all.’

5. The employees will be thrilled with these new policies because it’s ‘good to spread the wealth.’ Those of you who have underachieved will finally get an opportunity; those of you who have worked hard and had success will feel more ‘patriotic.’

6. The last few people who were hired should clean out their desks. Don’t feel bad, though, because President Obama will give you free healthcare, free handouts, free oil for heating your home, free food stamps, and he’ll let you stay in your home for as long as you want even if you can’t pay your mortgage. If you appeal directly to our democratic congress, you might even get a free flat screen TV and a coupon for free haircuts (shouldn’t all Americans be entitled to nice looking hair?)!

Isn't it frighteningly true?

ohhh ouch...lol How true, how true...

In my experience as an ops. Mangager in a gratuity business, I experimented in pooling tips. I can tell you right now, it was not welcomed, nor was it popular. In fact my owner / boss told me I was "entitled" to 10% of ALL GRTUITY as a manager....I was like "WHAAAAAT???" Needless to say, I still pooled the tips, but as an ethical person, I REFUSED to take 10%. Those guys broke their backs for me, and I paid them for it.

Oh scotty

Arent we being a bit too harsh on the one who WROTE he will stand with the Muslims?

come on!

Arent we being a bit too harsh on this man who to this day counts as his buds, guys like Wright and Ayres?

So what!
He wants to take money and spread the wealth

Look what he's doing FOR US.

He is relieving us of the deep seated deeply rooted guilt of society for having had slaves hundreds of years ago, from having flown drugs straight into Compton, for making moms have untold numbers of fatherless babies, for teaching math and science that was "too European ethnic"

See, all thats changing with the new HIP Hoppin miester of Coolness, "The One"

Life will be soooooooo much easier under the thumb of Obama and especailly with Nancy P and Barney F as his wingmen.

No thinking for yourself

just mellow out dude and smoke some of that new 'Bama "tabacco"

I was a liberal until I got a semester through college, started thinking for myself, and became educated.

People don't realize they are voting prosperity right out the proverbial window.

So much for "change". Didn't FDR give this speech over half a century ago in one of his campfire chats?

I'll bet Eugene Debs, A.L. Benson, Robert LaFollette, and Norman Thomas are all hopping in their respective resting places.

Hint: They were all Socialist presidential candidates.

Let's educate the children on socialism. This Halloween, all the little children who come to your door with their bags filled to the brim with candy, tell them now the Obama plan is to take half of their candy, and then tell them you will cart their candy down to the crack heads, who don't work, and did not bother to go door to door to collect their own candy.

So if their schools can teach them to chant Obama’s name, we can teach them on the idea of the Obama plan of redistribution.
See how quickly they stop chanting Obama

I agree. What the people voting for this guy fail to realize is that when Obama taxes businesses more, guess who they pass that cost on to?

I want to know honestly how many of these people in the blogs failed economics miserably. I doubt we'll get an honest answer.

Seriously scotty. With the children singing his praises in choreographed videos and the inability to accept dissenting opinions. We all heard about the way he went into the bailout meetings and hadn't read the GOP proposal but rejected it as crap.

So what's the report on the personal TV show he did last night? I am curious. Selfish me, I spent the night in a suite at the AAC watching the Dallas Stars.

I wish i had as much hope for McCain as i do doubt about Obama. It's scary to think either one of these people will run our country. I voted McCain but it boiled down to who i think will keep my son the safest in the wars.

God bless us all...We will need it

Native Californian transplanted to Texas in 1989, and I love the Metroplex! I'm a veteran paratrooper/infantryman and very conservative minded. I have no qualms about confronting policies that are detrimental to the United States of America regardless of any political persuasion. I support a strong military, tough, no-nosense politics, truth, justice and yes, even apple pie. I am against the Oprah-ization of this country, liberal politics and seditionists at every level. I'm a firm believer in the idea that the coddling mentality has backfired and served to ruin the backbone of America. There's nothing a good ass-kicking or some firm policies won't fix. I love sports, most notably NASCAR, the NHL, the NFL and MLB. I am a season ticket holder for the Dallas Stars and out at Texas Motor Speedway. Win or lose, I stick to my teams: Dallas Stars, Dallas Cowboys, San Diego Chargers, Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, Cleveland Indians and the San Diego Padres.
