scottythecomic's whimsical rantings

The bailout was a very bad idea. The proposed nationalization of banking systems is a terrible idea. And Obama's plan to provide a stimulus and tax small business just adds to the coming perfect storm and collapse of the economy into a wicked stagflation at best, and a collapse equal or worse than that experienced by the Germans, aka the Weimar Republic in 1918-1923.

I urge you fellow citizens, be you Democratic or Republican, to prepare for the coming collapse.  For if our government does not cease and desist from the current economic madness we could easily see Mad Max type terror in the very same streets we now toss footballs around in, and all within two years or even quite less.

Again, learn for yourselves what is happening to the economy.  The collapse may well usher in a one-world economic system long envisioned by the elite who must be chomping at the bit and frothing at the mouth with the looming prospect and fulfillment of their collective dream.

I respectfully urge you to stockpile food, clothes, weapons and ammunition. The money you currently have will be worth nothing when hyperinflation comes, one worse than the 1970's. Call me what you will, but I am preparing daily.

For your consideration, several videos.

I don't need to see the videos, I already know how horrid this meltdown, and it is such, already is.

I agree that the bail out is a very bad idea. The banks need tighter regulations. Politicians on both sides of the fence have been bought by the banks. Have you ever noticed that most credit card companies are based in Delaware? There is a reason for that. The laws there favor the banks instead of the consumer. If you want a fair credit card, checking account or savings account, go to a local credit union.

I was particularly surprised that the threat of martial law was revealed. We are but a mere disaster away from full martial law and that, my friends, does not bode well.

I don't know what to do about my 401k - I mean I put everything in more conservative funds but it sucks having your retirement in jeopardy because of a bunch of stupid politicians. Then I heard a Democrat saying that they were 'losing a lot of money' by not taxing 401k contributions on the way in (along with current taxes on the way out)! They don't understand that it isn't their money!

I sincerely believe that every dime we've invested is soon to be worthless. I'm hedging my bet on short term oil wells and gold, which is ever popular in a suffering economy.

The latest I've heard is to let things ride if you're young, get out if your money is needed now. McCain is proposing no fines or penalties to withdraw up to 15% from your IRA or 401k.

Who knew being broke and having no investments could be a blessing :). The world has gone crazy, our government is giving our money to criminals that should be jailed for what they have done. All I can do is shake my head and be thankful that I don't have anything for these greed mongers to steal.

Ladys and gentleman and Scotty, (couldn't resist scotty) keep you arms and legs inside the car at all times. Keep you seat belt strapped, guns loaded, and your family in clear sight. This ride is going to not only be bumpy, but a true test of the American common man / woman, and dont be suprised to several social wars come to pass. Race war, social acceptances, subtle rioting from the you of the nation, political scandals will be at the worst level ever, and Kaos is going to over take us like a plague. Its not irrational to say any of this. It is one day at a time, slowly developing, and coming to fruition. With the help of the internet and press, its a matter of time before things go POP!

Scotty I pray you are wrong but I also feel more comfortable in beginning a stock pile of items at home.

When my son was born I got rid of my guns but now have come to the decision that I should purchase another, at least a rifle. I also last year invested in 2 pups, 1 is a pit bull and another is a shepard. They both are just a year old now but a few weeks ago I had someone try to get in my home and I was lucky enough to see 1st hand how my dogs will help.

My son is off at college and fortunately close to my parents but if things turn bad I dont know if I should plan to bring him home or is he safer in the country?

I cant believe it has come to the point that we actually have to think about this!

Lily, there is growing concern among goverment officials that if the economic problems are not resolved soon that there could be widespread looting and rioting.

Did anyone even watch the 2nd video? It is amazing what we must have missed out on with regard to the "bailout" vote and all the associated threats.

Oh, and very interesting that so many coffins are stacked somewhere outside of Georgia, among other places.

Is there fears of a chemical attack? Nuclear attack? Something is planned for, you can bet on it.

Mozilla? And then look for what - when I look at your post there is nothing but one very large blank white square with the exception of what you wrote.

Sorry Scotty but I'm pretty new to blogging and I'm still learning my way around.

Some of these comments in my opinion are crazy. Riots, biochemical, warfare, and martial law?!

Yes the economy is jacked up right now, there's no denying that. But to put fear in some ppl who can be so gullible to believe everything they see and hear is crazy and irresponsible.

well well, Its the ole LDS (Ladder Day Sadist) still got your head in your arse I see. Some things never change. While the rest of us are preparing to take care of #1 she is relishing rose colored glasses and manifesting her less than intelligent, and weak constitution.

Native Californian transplanted to Texas in 1989, and I love the Metroplex! I'm a veteran paratrooper/infantryman and very conservative minded. I have no qualms about confronting policies that are detrimental to the United States of America regardless of any political persuasion. I support a strong military, tough, no-nosense politics, truth, justice and yes, even apple pie. I am against the Oprah-ization of this country, liberal politics and seditionists at every level. I'm a firm believer in the idea that the coddling mentality has backfired and served to ruin the backbone of America. There's nothing a good ass-kicking or some firm policies won't fix. I love sports, most notably NASCAR, the NHL, the NFL and MLB. I am a season ticket holder for the Dallas Stars and out at Texas Motor Speedway. Win or lose, I stick to my teams: Dallas Stars, Dallas Cowboys, San Diego Chargers, Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, Cleveland Indians and the San Diego Padres.
