WE KNOW THE  AUTO INDUSTRY PRETTY WELL,THE BIG THREE KNEW IN THE 70S THAT OUR COUNTRY WAS VULNERABLE TO FOREIGN OIL DESPITE THAT,IT'S TAKEN THE BIG THREE MORE THAN 30 YEARS TO DEVELOP A PROTOTYPE ELECTRIC CAR,WHISH  STILL NOT AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC

UNTIL RECENTLY THEY HAVE CONTINUED TO BUILD BIG CARS (HUMMERS) WITH LOW GAS MILEAGE,ADDED TO THAT,THEY HAVE CAVED INTO THEIR UNION'S DEMANDS FOR WAGES AND BENEFITS,MANAGEMENT THOUGHT IT COULD CONTINUE TO PASS THOSE UNCOMPETITIVE LABOR RATES ON TO THE CONSUMER IN THE FORM OF HIGHER PRICES,BUT WE ALSO NEED THE BIG THREE TO ADOPT A NEW BUSINESS PARADIGM AFTER 30 YEARS OF BUSINESS AS USUAL,CHAPTER 11 REORGANIZATION IS PROBABLY THE ONLY WAY

IF THE CRA CREATED THIS TIME BOMB OF LOUSY LOANS,WHY DIDN'T IT GO OFF IN 1980 OR 1996? THE WRITING OF CRAZY MORTGAGES FOR LOW INCOME PEOPLE LOANS WITH EXPLODING INTEREST RATES,BRUTAL FEES AND NO DEMANDS FOR DOCUMENTATION,WAS A POST 2003 PHENOMENON IN 2004,THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION ACTUALLY SLASHED (CRA)REGULATIONS,FREEING SMALL BANKS AND THRIFTS FROM ITS TOUGHEST STANDARDS

THIS INSTITUTIONS NO LONGER HAD TO MAKE SUBPRIME LOANS TO LOW INCOME PEOPLE,THAT SHOULD HAVE REDUCED THE VOLUME IF THE CRA WAS DRIVING IT,ON THE CONTRARY,SUBPRIME LENDING INCREASED.

CRA WAS A MINOR PLAYER IN THE MORTGAGE ORGY,SINCE THE LATE 90S HALF OF SUBPRIME LOANS HAVE BEEN MADE BY INDEPENDENT MORTGAGE COMPANIES NOT SUBJECT TO CRA RULES ,UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN LAW SCHOOL PROFFESOR MICHAEL BARR TOLD CONGRESS IN FEBRUARY,ANOTHER 30%CAME FROM AFFILIATES OF BANKS OR THRIFTS WITH LITTLE  CRA SUPERVISION THAT LEFT ONLY ONE IN FIVE SUBPRIME LOANS FULLY GOVERNED BY CRA,THE UGLY TRUTH IS THIS ,LENDERS DIDN'T HAVE TO BE DRAGGED INTO LOW INCOME NEIGHBORHOOD,THEY RUSHED IN,IT WAS THERE THAT THEY COULD PUSH THEIR COMPLICATED MORTGAGE ONTO THE ELDERY,BLACKS AND HISPANICS,AND THEN SELL THE LOANS TO SOMEBODY ELSE,AT LEAST 40%OF THE HOLDERS OF SUBPRIME MORTGAGES,ACCORDING TO ONE STUDY,FAR FOR BEING SPURNED BY FINANCIERS,LOWINCOME AMERICANS HAVE BECOME THEIR CASH COW PAYDAY LENDERS ARE LISTED ON THE NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE,OPERATORS GO INTO THE POOR NEIGHBORHOODS  PRETENDING TO BE RETAILERS,THE PRODUCT THEY "SELL"YES LOW INCOMEPEOPLE CAN BE CREDIT RISKS,THAT CANNOT BE IGNORED,BUT THIS FINANCIAL SCANDAL IS THE WORK OF A FAT CATS,ENEBLED BY A PERMISSIVE GOVERNMENT(BUSH)

THE CONSEQUENCES OF OUR EXTRAVAGANCE GO BEYOND OUR WALLETS HIGHER INCOMES ALSO TRASLATE INTO THE FREEDOM TO BUY A SPORT UTILITY VEHICLE OR A PICKUP TRUCK EVEN IF THEY CONSUME MORE GAS(WE AMERICANS DON'T CARE) ,ENERGY CONSUMPTION PER CAPITA,IF WE LOOK INTERNATIONALLY,IS HIGHLY RELATED TO INCOME,SAID STEPHEN BROWN,DIRECTOR OF ENERGY ECONOMIC AT THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF DALLAS "U.S".INCOME IS QUITE A BIT HIGHER NOW THAN IT WAS IN THE 70s,AT THE SAME TIME,PRICES ARE RELATIVELY LOW HERE ,GAS IS FAR CHEAPER THAN IN EUROPE,WERE FUEL TAXES ARE MUCH HIGHER,THE BRITS CURENTLY PAY ABOUT $7.00 PER GALLON..(soon we'll be paying2)... IN OTHER WORDS,AMERICANS MOTORISTS ARE STILL GETTING A BARGAING ON GAS (not for long),WHICH HELP EXPLAIN WHY THEY KEEP BUYING MORE ,SO THE NEXT TIME YOU'RE AT THE PUMP,STARING AS THE STOMACHCLENCHING NUMBERS CLICK PAST,TRY TELLING YOURSELF YOU'RE JUST LOADING UP ON THE RED LIGHT SPECIAL,AT A PRICE YOU HELP CREATE(spoiled american).....

AMERICANS CAN YOU FEEL THE PAIN?

this nation its going bananas we have to many guns on the street on the hans of people that supposed to be good american family,guns are doing to much domage to innocent childrens that trust their parents and when this parents have a problem for what ever reason if he own a gun he will  shot his family and then kill him self,lets out law all this guns, i know guns don't kill people,but if you have a gun in a heat of the moment you will used the gun on you love ones.

THE DRUGS COMPANIES HAVE CONVINCED OUR DOCTORS( corrupt our doctors)AND US THAT EVERYONE NEED REALLY  LOW  CHOLESTEROL IN ORDER TO CHEAT HEART DISEASE, THIS HAS DRIVEN BILLIONS IN STATIN  DRUGS REVENUE (u money my money) ONLY TO FIND OUT  THAT THEY CAUSE  ADVERSE SIDE EFFECT (need another pill) AND DON'T PREVENT HEART DISEASE  (you dead)

my mom started a daily regimen of oatmeal,two teaspoons of oat bran and one to two  tablespoons of benecol spread, her cholesterol is lower than ever ....

I'm always amused when i see racism hidden behind the facade of respect for law and order,these very laws themself were driven by those with racist attitudes, i'm sure 50 years ago some people were saying ,"i'm not a racist i just believe tha law should be followed and that colored people should drink from separate water fountains and ride in the back of the bus"

HERE IN WILLIAMSON COUNTY,WE COOPERATE  WITH  IMMIGRATION AUTHORITIES TO  ALLOW   THE CAGING OF  WOMAN  AND CHILDREN .

THE PROBLEM IS, SOME OF US THINK LOCKING UP CHILDREN,EVEN  TODDLERS,IS OK ,YES BABIES  BEHIND BARS, REP.JOHN CARTER  SAY  THAT  THE RESIDENTS  AT THE   T.DON HUTTO FAMILY  RESIDENTIAL  FACILITY, GET HUMANE TREATMENT, SOUND LIKE HE'S TALKING  ABOUT DOGS AND CATS IN AN ANIMAL SHELTER,  NEVER  IN OUR HISTORY HAVE WE INCARCERATED LITTLE CHILDREN, MUCH LESS BABIES,WHAT IS HAPPENING TO COARSEN US SO MUCH THAT WE DON'T REACT WITH OUTRAGE?????????????.

HMMMM HEAVEN WAITING 4 U?

If the goverment  really does care about its people ,why does it not listen? why does it not enact an across -the -board  interest rate reduction on credit  card debt?,,why does it not close our borders to illigal immigrants?  why is horse slaughter legal, drilling in protect lands encouraged  and urban sprawl unchecked?  why does our goverment continue to defy the will of the american people,without consequence?

downtown dallas will be a net loser in T.X.U's $45 billion buyout,that's because the utility giant plan to move part of its operation from the central business district to irving,T.X.U energy the retail portion of the company,will relocate to las colinas with about 200 employees after the sale is complete,txu executives say,txu is one of downtown's larges employers with with more than 1500 workers,while downtown has for yeras struggled to hang onto office workers,the timing for txu's move is good,said john crawford,chairman of downtown dallas,the business and economic development group,we are in much bette shape than we were five or six years ago so it won't have near the impact,crawford said yesterday,the workers to be moved are housed in txu's skyscraper on bryan street,

ARE WE WILLING TO KEEP PAYING OVER PRICE ELECTRICITY?

One of the things that makes this country great is the freedom,however membership in this country come with certain privileges and obligation.

We've come to the point where non-member ,ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS,receive the same privileges as a members,we shouldn't necessarity discourage immigration,but we should support naturalization,or have a law enforcement round up lawbreakers,it really is that simple,it make me sick that i pay taxes that go toward health care for such people,in my opinion,if you pay taxes and earn your citizenship,then you are welcome,those who haven't done those two things should not be allowed to speak-which is one of the most important privileges in this country.......
