Oh Rosie!

I was thinking about green tomato mincemeat or salsa ...

... I've never fried them.

We only got six little green tomatoes this year ... I think our yard is just not meant to grow tomatoes! :-(

sound's good Rosie
We had a few tomatoe's but our bushes have been gone for a long time.
Enjoy them. Some of them look as tho they will ripen in a day or two so you will still have some red one's.

Mmmmmmmmm Rosie!

Now I'm hungry ... wait! I'm ALWAYS hungry!

The few I rescued are in a brown paper bag ... but I'm not too sure they'll ripen ... stupid plants just keep setting fruit!

Wild ... we have too much shade, and a huge tree in the back that harbors way too many little flying white bugs/gnats ... they just eat up the plants as fast as they grow ... argh!

I'll have to read up but there are tomato's that actually do better in the shade..... Not as tasty as the better boys that grow in the hot sun but will beat a blank.......

Never had fried green maters. Probably cuz I don't like ANYTHING fried. Gotta agree with Catfish on this one and I never agree with him about food. LOL

Now that I'm thinking about food, I think I'll grill up a Mushroom Burger with Monterey Jack Cheese. YUM
