All while Robert Schuler is agreeing and declareing how great that is.

That is not what the Bible says! Buddhists, muslims and non-believers go to hell, and he of all people should know that- and preach it!

Didn't Jesus say "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man cometh to the Father but by me."

How about ..."neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given given among men, whereby we must be saved."

Billy Graham is seen as a  a preacher that knows the Word of God, and preaches the truth. Please be careful what and who you listen to for biblical truth... he doesn't have it.

How many C & E Christians, did God a favor and went to church today?

The following is a poem written by Judge Roy Moore from Alabama. Judge Moore was sued by the ACLU for displaying the Ten Commandments in his courtroom foyer. He has been stripped of his judgeship and now they are trying to strip his right to practice law in Alabama. The judge's poem sums it up quite well.

America the Beautiful,
or so you used to be.
Land of the Pilgrims' pride;
I'm glad they'll never see.

Babies piled in dumpsters,
Abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty;
your house is on the sand.

Our children wander aimlessly
poisoned by cocaine,

when God has said abstain.

Oh, how true!

  Since President Bush is responsible for the attacks on 9/11, hurricane Katrina, the recent stock market crash, the gas prices sky-rocketing the past few years, and everything else bad that has happened in the last eight years, but I do want to say "Thank you" for lowering the gas prices for us.

Since he gets blamed for everything bad, I see it only fit to credit him for something good.

Have any of you seen the movie "Fireproof" yet? If not, grab your honey and go. I can honestly say that it was one of the best movies I have ever seen.

This is a must see movie for couples that are married or are thinking about getting married.

Go see it before it is gone from the theaters, you will be glad you did.

When you ask anybody if they think they will go to heaven when they die, almost everyone says they will. You will more than likely hear an explanation like this:

"Yes, I'm a pretty good person."

"I go to church."

"I've been baptized."

"I've never murdered anybody."

"I believe in god"

"I was saved when I was a kid."

"I've recieved Jesus into my heart."

"I've prayed the sinners prayer."

....But, the Bible never said that is how you are truly saved.

Have you ever lied?

Have you ever stolen anything? - even if it's something small or a long time ago.

Have you ever been drunk?

Have you ever had sex outside of marriage?

Have you ever taken the Lord's name in vain?

Have you ever looked at anyone with lust?

Have you ever hated someone?

If you can answer "Yes" to any of these, God sees you as a Liar, a Theif, a Drunkard, a Fornicator, a Blasphemer,  an Adulterer (Jesus said if you look with lust, you commit adultery in your heart), or a Murderer (Jesus said if you hate your brother, you are a murderer at heart).

On Judgement Day, that's exactly what God will see you as and the Bible  (1 Cor 6:9-10 & Rev. 21:8)  warns us that none of these people will be able to enter into heaven.

God is a just and perfect judge and cannot let any sin enter into heaven, the sins that we have committed wil require a penalty to be paid. But, thanks be unto God - Jesus Christ took upon Himself the penalty for sin that must be paid. Either we can pay that debt for our sins by spending an eternity in hell or we can trust the finished work of Jesus Christ for the payment of our sins for us.  One or the other, that's it.

How do I do that?

Believe and have Faith in what Jesus did on your behalf (John 3:16). Believe not only means to have knowledge of something, but to commit one's life unto.  Faith is not a blind leap in the dark, but full trust in the finished work of Christ. Commit your full trust in what Jesus did, not anything that you did...Baptism, good works, communion, confession, church attendance or anything else. 

Repent of your sinful lifestyle. There is no salvation without repentance. You must acknowledge that you have sinned against a Holy God and do deserve to go to hell. Turn away from what you know is sinful and turn to Jesus Christ. 

Once someone is truly saved they will want to serve God. Jesus said that you will know them by their fruits. If someone is truly saved, you will know it, God will place His Spirit within you, giving you a new desire for the things of God.

Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shall be saved. (13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Obama wants to spend several hundred million of our dollars to support abortion in other countries.

I thought he said he was against abortion and wanted to see less of it. -That's not the way to do it!

Well, you wanted CHANGE!!  I guess technically that is a start.

62 million blind people in America!

Imagine if this were 2001. 9/11 just happened 2 months ago and America is on high alert for our own safety. Everybody (Democrats and Republicans alike) were wanting to go to war and defend our country. National Patriotism was at all time high. American flags everywhere, stores sold out and back orders filled.

If there were a presidential election held in 2001, (let's just say). Do you really think that America would even consider Barak Hussein Obama as our president?

I don't think so.

Can a true God feaing, born again, blood washed, Holy Spirit filled Christian vote for a canidate who supports the death of over 4,000 innocent babies a day? A canidate who said that the first bill he will sign is the "Freedom of Choice" bill? A canidate who supports gay marriage- the very sin that God calls an abomination!

If you can find any Biblical reason why voting for Obama is ok, please share it with me. I can't seem to find anywhere in my Bible that it's ok to yoke up with people who stand for everything that God hates.

Repent or Perish!

America was founded as a Christian nation. 95% of Americans claim to believe in God. 65-70% of Americans claim to be a Christian. But how do other countries see us? ....Christian? Not quite.   Sexually immoral, perverted, drunkards, murderers (especially abortion), idolators, backbiters, greedy, homosexual, adulterers, fornicators, thieves, revilers, extortioners, liars...You name it, we love to wallow in it.  Welcome to the land of Sodom and Gomorrah!

Don't get me wrong, everyone is a sinner, including those who truly are Christians.  The difference is that, if you're a true Christian, when you sin it will bother you.  You won't be able to comfortably live out your life in sin.  However, sin doesn't seem to bother most people and evidence of that is clear:  a LOT of Americans are comfortable making sin a part of their lifestyle.

Matt. 7:20, 21, 23  "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.  Not everyone that saith unto me Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven... I will profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

God has no doubt blessed us with the best country in the world. Our freedoms, jobs, families, homes, food, health, doctors, money...even our government. To whom much is given, much is required. God giveth and God taketh away.

1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

If 70% of people in America who claim to be a Christian were Christ-like and abstained from all appearance of evil, we might be able to truthfully be called a "Christian nation" again.

"If my people, which are called by my name (Christians), shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land."

"Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."  -Jesus

Obama wants to:

Raise minium wage to 10 dollars an hour.- so subtract about 4 dollars an hour from what you already make to compensate for the inflation that would happen.

See gas go to 12 dollars a gallon.- so we can "break" our oil dependancies (he uses our tax money to pay for his gas anyway- so it would not bother him).

Tax the oil companies for the large profits they make.- Only the government comes out ahead here, they will only pass the loss to us. How about use OUR oil!!!!!

Give everyone a 1,000$ check for fuel.- So he is trying to buy your vote with our money. Didn't Obame criticize the "stimulas check" that Bush passed?

Proclaim "economic justice" - socialism anyone?

Now, I'm not crazy about McCain, but I'd rather have Father Time in charge than someone that will flush our nation down the toilet.

COMMUNISM:  You have two cows.  The government takes both of them and gives you part of the milk.

SOCIALISM:   You have two cows.  The government takes one and gives it to your neighbor.

FASCISM:  You have two cows.  The government takes both cows and sells you the milk.

NAZISM:  You have two cows.  The government takes both your cows, then shoots you.

BUREAUCRACY:  You have two cows.  The government takes both of them, shoots one, milks the other, then pours the milk down the drain.

CAPITALISM:  You have two cows.  You sell one of them and buy a bull.
