When George W. Bush took office in January of 2001: gasoline was selling at $1.46 a gallon.....today the average is $4.09........the national debt stood at $5.6 trillion.....today its $9.5 trillion......unemployment was at 3.6%....today its 5.5%.......the S&P 500 was at 1373.....eight years later its at 1277.  Can America really stand four more years of ineffective government.  And we're still waiting for Mr. Bush to bring Osama Bin Ladin to trial.  This November will be the most important vote you"ll ever cast.....ask yourself.....can we really take four more years?

Everything is going to turn out all right. If Obama is elected none of us will ever have to work again, our bills will be forgiven or paid off entirely and of course, they'll be a chicken in every pot.
I'm not sure if you're aware of how our government works. But it is the Congress who decides what and where the taxpayer's money gets spent. Two years ago gas was half what it cost today and the stock markets were booming. What changed the dynamic? Oh I remember, a do-nothing Democrat Congress. But I digress...

Happyg, I don't think Ricky is old enough to know the meaning of "a chicken in every pot". He probably didn't learn about the phrase in school either, he was probably in the principle's office or at a bar!

When George took office:

1.) He had a mess and reputation to clean up after Bill Clinton disgraced the Oval office with his constant womanizing.

2.) He had to deal with Bill Clinton's blunders in trying to get Osama Bin Laden.

3.) He had a constant problem with moonbat Jimmy Carter meddling in the affairs of the United States, particularly with the Middle East.

4.) He had to deal with a disgruntled Al Gore, who started looking for a publicity stunt, which he finally hatched with this global warming nonsense.

5.) He had to deal with Muslim terrorists who told him to either denounce his faith, declare that Allah is God and Mohammed is his prophet, and that he was to usurp the laws of the United States and declare Sharia Law.

Now see what kind of mess Bush had to deal with? If he had given up, our heads would be all chopped off by the extremists. Now about the last thing I mentioned...that information came from former PLO terrorist Walid Shoebat, and Israeli Military General Shimon Erem, from a conference I personally attended in May.

Stay informed everyone! And don't let the moonbats bite you!

During the first 5 years of Bush’s Presidency, the price of gasoline only went up about 66 cents….ever since the “no-drill Democrats” took over control of Congress in 2006, it’s gone up more than $2.00 for at least a 70% rise – coincidence? I think not….

the problem is that if the DEMS AND REPS would stop fighting on issues back and forth maybe somethings would be resolved, and gas prices are not Bush's fault, I can't agree with Bush on everything but he has done some good unlike mister let's screw my interns and lie about it and have the taxpayers pay the bill, the DEMS are the ones who do not want to drill our own oil, causing the demand to be higher than the supply.

-20-gas-prices-$3-usat_x.htm you might want to take a look at that article hacksaw....why is it republicans think they can make up facts when there is no defense for their actions...gas prices were over $3 during the first five years of pain....and mystere...i was bowled over by the factual basis of your rebuttal....but you forgot to add that george was saddled with the mistakes of the wilson administration.....ask yourself people...am i better off today than i was in 2000...and vote your pocketbooks...

If there's one thing I can always count in every election I've voted in for the past 30 something years - it's that whoever's elected always claims they have to clean up the mess the previous president left.
Soooo....whoever is elected.....clean it up or shut up....that's part of the job of the presidency.

The one fool who caused the oil prices to rise is that peanut head Jimmy Carter! We are reaping the ill effects of the things he did in the 70s: Carter eliminated ground intelligence in the Middle East because he thought we didn't need it at all, even though we had 30 years of it since 1946...that according to Israeli Military General Shimon Erem. The Muslims are now using the high price of oil to hold all nations hostage...That according to General Erem and former P.L.O. terrorist Walid Shoebat. I personally heard these things from their mouths at a conference I attended in May. And Erem stated that Jimmy Carter is the worst president the United States has ever had to this day! And yes, I heard him say that! And Erem states that the Democrats are doing plenty of damage to us, the ordinary citizens, by continually allowing Jimmy Carter to interfere with National Security. This from a foreigner who has plenty of military experience, and leadership experience. And he backed up everything with historical facts which I remember reading in the newspapers back in the 70s (I was a paper boy at that time, and I read all the things he brought out to back his claims).

Counter this Ricky...the balls are now in your court.
