I have a suggestion that I think will work for all the folks that enjoy the EXCHANGE of ideas on your blog, very simple, set you site so you CAN NOT post without allowing comments.

The people that post without allowing comments should just write a letter to the editor so they can make there point of view known, than they would not have to worry about someone disagreeing with them.

I'm beginning to think those people who don't turn on their comment buttons, can't read. We all keep trying to tell them, and they are not listening, or they don't care. It is annoying. LOL

Im thinking they do it on purpose so you cant disagree with them. There is a certian few in here that are so left winged that their brains are warped.

Blogs should never contain a delete or no comment button. If it does it is no longer a blog.

MyFoxColorado has a pretty liberal webteam that takes a couple radical guys with their comments turned off and ALWAYS selects them for the main board.. I complained, and then started to copy/paste their stuff onto my profile where they couldn't delete. After a while, people just went to my profile, and responded, and we all deleted ANYTHING they wrote on our profiles, thus silencing them.

I also started sending e-mail to the big FOX site and all its folks telling them how liberals exploit the FOX name for an audience because they can't make one of their own.

Many of the candidates running for President turn off the comments on their video posts online as well, or they set it to where comments have to be approved before being posted. I think this is censorship, if you can't take criticism or debate regarding your views and ideas then you shouldn't be offering them to the public.

I think they are cclueless as to how to allow comments. It's pretty laughable, actually.

Disagre with not having or allowing "delete buttons", I administer a paranormal forum and we sometimes get SPAMMERS posting drugs, porno info and other such stuff that I DELETE as soon as I find it. And some comments sometimes need to be deleted for other reasons that may only be known to the originator of the particular commetary. And if it' their commetary, video or what have you, IT IS NOT CENSORSHIP to allow them to delete or even edit out explicit stuff from comments that may not be suitable for children!

However, I do feel every commenter needs to also be able to EDIT their post if they submit and then find it has errors that need correcting. (Spelling, etc.) This is the only blog I've been on where there is no END USER EDIT function or even for the end user to DELETE their own message if after writing it, they opt they really don't want those words published! But there is also NO PREVIEW button either, which would be beneficial here too!

But that's just my opinion....as it is.

Either they don't know how to set them setings for it or they can't handle the possible fire, but waste our time. There is a choice option to allow or not allow comments so it's all in what you choose. There is a right reason to use the delete button and there's a wrong way to use the delete button and the option is there for the choosing.
