Why, are our urbanites moving into matchbox apartments? Is the Question on MSN?

HELLO!!!!!!

I think the real question is; why are realtors selling overly priced homes to poor people, even thou they know that some can’t afford it.

I’m told folks buy homes because of the beauty and most know they can’t even afford the up keep.  Hmmmm! Is this a ploy to move the poor to the suburbs or to the rich back to the city? Well, I think it is just damn good common sense for the rich. In a few months our economy seems to be headed for a dive to the bottom. The rich know without dough that they better not get caught with the big monstrosity sitting on a green piece of grass. They know just how expensive from the electricity to heating will be to maintain it. So by moving back to the city and yes, taking over that matchbox apartment the poor person no longer want.  Will save them hundreds, if not thousand of dollars they will need in the coming future. So, please my poor friends, mainly my friends in the Logan section of Philly. Your homes are now on the market at a value of $95,000.00 and up hang in here with us. Let the rich find homes elsewhere. Don’t get snookered into buying that rich person big monstrosity, from some realtor and their flashy vacation to bonga- bonga insensitive.

What??? How about some personal responsibility with regard to purchasing a home you can afford. If you buy an overpriced house, how can it be caused by the realators? Buy smart.
Secondly, if you're smart, your finances are in order and you will weather the economic problems just fine. I live in the suburbs and I can not think of one person who is considering moving to the city and unloading their properties( on the "urbanite") to enhance lifestyle. Do you really think these folks have no responsibility for their financial well being?

No,I think you are living in a fairytale land and are one of those rich folks they are talking about. Some poor folks I know who never had a thing in their life "will" exceed their means. This don't mean they are dumb or stupid? I think most poor people really means good when they attempt to reach for the better things in life. It's so strange why the smart rich people always squeeze the poor dumb person out of their penny. But, too scared most of the the to pressure the rich person. Yep, I truly think it is dumb for a poor person to try. They ought to stay in their place......If, this makes you feel bettter.

I don't understand people who think like you. One should always strive to suceed( in anything). What your suggesting is for people to sit back, relax and be happy with what comes your way. In my philosophy, If I want to suceed at something, I set a goal. I may not achieve my goal, but I'll be better off having tried. That's the difference. Rich smart people have zero interest in "poor dumb"(your words, not mine)people and moving them into bigger mortgages just to see them fail. We (and I do not include myself in the rich catagory) have our own worries, one of the is acheiving and bettering ourselves. Rich people make choices, we make investments, we have a goal. We do not seek to take the pennies from the poor.

Look, spare me the tears of how rich (we) are and the good ship that sailed your way with smartness achieving your goals through smart investments. I worked as a security guard in a clothing store. (I choose not to name this time). I saw examples of how those rich people remain rich ripping off the poor by selling less quality products or altering a product to be sold. Guess who buys that product most of the time. "Yep". Now, have you ever heard of somebody buying a car they thought were their dream car, getting it home and the darn thing fell apart? Guess who buys that most of the time. "Yep". Well, I don't want to shock you, but in my community where I live for thirty-one years. In1983 and on. Most realtors sold homes to people who could not afford to pay for the up keep. "Why", because the neighborhood change from one race of people to another race of people. The realtors didn’t care who could afford these homes as long as they sold them. Showing how grateful our major lending source, (a bank) located in our neighborhood was. They (the other rich) sponged those folks then red line the mortgages to make a profit off those poor folks. And ‘Yep” guess who brought those homes. By the way many articles were written about those loan companies ripping off the poor people, most had no understanding of what they got themselves into. Urbanites will move to the city if the economy gets worst. It makes great since. I’m not sure if you will follow suit, you may be as stated pretty stables to way out the storm. I do which you and your family the very best. I will continue to ask th

You can't play both ends against the middle.
Realtors just want to sell houses, it is not a conspiracy, they see green like everybody else. Secondly, signing onto a note you can't afford is nobody's fault except for the person who signed the note. Ask questions at closing, simple as pie. Do you really think this housing market affect only you???? This is a huge hit on many peoples portfolio, some have lost 4,000.00, some have lost millions all because a few folks believe somebody else should be more responsible for their mortgage.
Now everybody is jumping on the "government, please bail me out band wagon" and that means only one thing to me. It means financial gift to those who have done nothing more than to be fiscally irresponsible. It also means somebody else is going to pay. Can you guess who that is??Yep, and I'm tired of paying.
