Friends: Drugs a bit part in Obama's young life.

Note: What the hell has happen to moral values. We tell our children to stay away from crime, be good in school and maybe, just maybe you will grow up to be President of the United States one day.  We fire employee's and drug test others to be sure they are not- nor will be involved in drugs. We send people to jail when ever in their lives, they are found  guilty or confess to committing a crime against society. Poor Pete Rose, Michael Vick, Marion Johnson and other celebrities not to Mentioned the many political folks who were not allowed to continue their careers because of their criminal activity against society. What the hell ever happen to our morals in this country. Our standard is a disgrace mainly how they apply for some but not all. The more I search through our political records a great percentage of folk who are holding office themselves were involved in a major crime or confess to being involved in criminal activity one time or another.  I just heard a few weeks ago in PA how a deranged male enticed a female minor to his home under false pretense. He proceeded to rape this child then savagely killed her throwing her body in the trash. Wow! I this man's excuse were; he was high on drugs. By the way the child mom was high on drugs, too, mom allowed her daughter to go go this disturbed man's home. Then, I heard using her prestige name to pull thousands of people to listen to a candidate run for the highest office in this country? Oprah Winfrey. I thought Oprah was against the criminal elements. Her life was totally ripped apart by some slime ball who could have been on drugs. Mainly, when an excuse like I tried drugs when I was in college. Check this out, what the Times wrote on Obama who was recently know as "Barry".
The Long Run
By Serge F. Kovaleski
updated 2:28 a.m. PT, Sat., Feb. 9, 2008 ; Mr. Barack Obama, Years later in his 1995 memoir, he mentioned smoking "reefer" in "the dorm room of some brother" and talked about "getting high." Before Occidental, he indulged in marijuana, alcohol and sometimes cocaine as a high school student in Hawaii, according to the book.
B.E. Note: This was just 13 years ago. and by the way, this was not crack, but cocaine. I guess the moral of the story here to tell your children. The message is; it is ok to do drugs while you are young, because you maybe President one day and citizens of the United States really don't care what criminal we put in office to run this county. Why, do these people think it is ok to step up to the plate "ONLY" when they are ready to advance their own means, to mentions their past criminal activities. It hurts my heart to listen to people who tell our children and others. I did it, I know how it feels, I don't want you do do it. This to me is like saying just the opposite to someone, opening up a challenge. Others will say. Look at you. You committed a crime and still get to run for President. We as a country truly need to evaluate our moral values and get back on the right track mainly to steer our future generation. Mr. Obama MUST understand. Many Mothers, Fathers and families lost their love one in this war. It's the sale and use of drugs sold to this country, that support the weapons the killed their love ones. May yours and my God bless us always as a country and a nation.

I'm no Obama fan, but after one serves their time, at what point does one "get" to move past their mistakes. I'm sure your perfect. Humans make mistake, we learn from mistakes(usually) an grow wisdom from mistakes. Are you telling me you have never had a few to many??? Alcohol is a drug as well. shall we lump you in the same pool as Obama? I bet you have even gotten into a car and driven with a few too many under your belt. Let's not throw too many stone, one never knows where they'll land.

Move, Alcohol is a drug as well and you are right. If, ny car ran over anyone while I had a little too many, "yes" lump me in the same pool as Obama. Just, keep me away from the many Mothers, Fathers and families who lost their love one as a result of drugs either on the streets or this war. You said; Let's not throw too many stones. Obama did just that according to Serge F. Kovaleski of the times. Obama thumb his nose at every law enforcement officer and D.A. telling them I did this and so what through his book. Remember, there is a price we all must pay for our mistakes. Being a leader of peolple should not be one of them.

Yes, but at some point, bygones. I would hate to see Obama as president, but let's place yourself in his situation, would you see yourself fit for a second chance?
