My father was a Cop shot in the face when I was a child. The Second Amendment of our county is a must. It should never be tampered with, but the laws on our books referring to how we use these guns should be enforced. I worry about the creation of more revised Amendments, for Amendment. This is where it gets so confusing. The right to bear arms means just that. It don’t read the right to bear arms and let the police know if you lost your gun or gave it someone. The House voted on September 21, 1789 to accept; A well regulated militia being the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms “shall not be infringed”. All citizens of the United should have the right to wear that gun exposed or concealed on their persons at all times. Every law abiding citizen rights are being infringed upon and violated when they are forced to hide or register  a gun, even told where to carry that gun. We as citizens may not like our laws but they were put in place to be sure our government never take atvantage or attempt to over throw it’s citizens. Please forgive my typing I have poor vision.

You're typing is just fine! Well said! I'm sorry your father was shot in the face. Maybe if more law abiding citizens carried weapons, crime would go down! Keep up the good work!

Dont get me wrong, im all for people being allowed to carry guns, but when the constitution was written, carrying guns was a totally different thing. They didnt have crime rates like they do now and the punishments were A LOT worse. Not to mention the fact that a gun to them was a six foot long, sixty pound musket with one shot at a time maximums.

Guns today are totally different, and the law needs to be revised.

The law needs to be revised in that every law abiding citizen in the USA should be able to carry a concelaed weapon. It's a fact that crime, particularily violent crime has gone down wherever there is a concealed carry law.

The nature of man has not changed. There are no less and no more criminals today than there were 221 years ago per capita. Guns do not kill, besides, if someone has murderous intent, do you really believe a gun is their only option. Why not ban neck ties, nail polish remover and plastic bags ect... there is no end to the way humans will find to kill each other, as for me, I'd rather be on the trigger side protecting my family then the other end. As for you beerman, I think you'll see thing clearly no matter how many beers you've had :)

Thank for everyone's support and I feel we do respect each and everyone’s thoughts on a subject matter. Yes, my father knew just how dangerous it was to fight our homeland battles. Just like we know dangerous it is for all our Wonderful military personnel fighting for those very rights that now governs our country. All of a sudden the going gets tough and we want to change our laws. If I thought that changing or altering our laws would help change things I would be first in the line. If for one second you think a criminal care if we change a law or not. You, my wonderful friend is truly living in the wrong country. Changing laws are not designed to stop criminals. It's designed to stop the honest man who is thinking about becoming a criminal.
We may have until March before our Master Judges of this country render a decision about our Second Amendment Right as it pertains to you.

The hand guns crimes are not committed by the people who have legal handguns.
And no matter if you completely you outlaw guns, it is the criminal and the lowest common denominator of slime that will always be able to get their guns. As the slime do not get their guns legally, but they do get them through other street vermin and other criminals
So what you are doing is stopping the law abiding citizens from protecting themselves, their family, their homes and their businesses, by outlawing the legal purchase of guns.
A criminal will always be able to get a gun.
To stop crimes committed with guns, bring back the dealth penalty, then don't be afraid to give it as a sentence, and then carry it out swiftly.
