tell me when a lighted sign that states no turn on red, and a red light, mean it's OK for you to turn anyway? the sign doesn't say only certain people have to obey it, it means everyone!! including you! also what is the big hurry at 3:30am I was waiting at the light on bumby at robinson, heading north, a car pulls up next to me, looks both ways and then goes right ahead and crosses robinson, WHILE THE LIGHT IS STILL RED! what is soo important that you can't wait the minute for the light to change. is your time that much more valuable than everyone else? or is it because you are a pigheaded, inconsiderate, idiot who doesn't care if you cause an accident? I hope you get broadsided by a semi the next time you pull that boneheaded stunt, it would serve you right!!!

Please don't hope that on anybody, because the boneheads family will hire a meatwagon chasing lawyer and he would turn everything around and blame the trucker for the accident, then they would sue the driver and the company he works for. Get a tag number, call it in as an agressive driving.

People do it ALL the time at the corner of Minton and Emerson in Palm Bay. I have chosen to just take Minton all the way to Palm Bay. I tried stopping once and some moron kept blowing his horn at me. Where are the Palm Bay police?? They could make millions of dollars in fines here.

"or is it because you are a pigheaded, inconsiderate, idiot who doesn't care if you cause an accident?"

so quick to judgemental decisions..

3:30am. Last time I checked, that's pretty early in the morning - and it's pitch dark minus streetlights.

I've always seen the "rules of the roads" to be more of guidelines (obviously they aren't, but that's how I see it). Considering you're going down a backroad, late at night.. wide open, and the speed limit is 35, I don't see any point in really going 35-40... I think anyone in their right mind would go 50 or 55.

I myself, I've always stomped on the brakes instead of the gas at yellow lights.. but if it's 3:30AM, and no one else is coming - I don't see anything wrong in running the red.

nysh08: YOU and people like you-the 'laws don't apply to me types'-maim and kill people everyday with that attitude of yours. I guess it will take you or someone you love dying, or worse, NOT dying but living plugged into tubes and such before you figure out, there are more people than just you out there and the laws are for EVERYONE, no matter what time of day it tis.

nysh08, I'm on the road at that time because I'm on my way to work. SOME of us aren't the 9-5 workers, there are those of us who work the dark hours that most won't. how would you like it if the hospitals, police, and fire dept. only kept bankers hours? and you or a loved one had an emergency, and they told you , come back between 9-5 our normal working hours! as for running the red, Murphy loves people like you!

Anyone running a red light AT ANY TIME is just downright IGNORANT! And I sure hope you jerks that do this get your just rewards for being so arrogantly ignorant!

Came to Florida in the late sixties on a bike, lived in Orlando since early 70's, I'm ex-military, still ride a motorcycle.don't intend to let cagers or the congestion stop me. and I always wear a helmet, carry insurance and a piece legally.
