I went to the Obama rally in Orlando on Monday and when we got there, it looked like we were at the end of a very long line. that was 2:30pm. But a half hour later, when the line was moving, I saw that the line went around the marriott and over to the next street and back down Paramore . The line was over a mile long. When we were let in, there was hardly any room to stand and they had to block off the line after a while. it was packed. Sen. Bill Nelson gave a good opening speach and the the two leading canadates for the democtatic ticket (and maybe even the two leading canadates for the white house) showed up and the crowd went wild. It was awesome to see so many people there to show thier support for Obama. He is always a great speaker. Hillary got the crowd going as well. She knows how to talk to the American people. The cops told the media that they think there were 75,000 people there, but it looked like another 50,000 were turned away. Came close to Obama's past weekend at St. Louis where he drew over 100,000 people. It was like there were people for miles from the stage. I don't know the street names very well in downtown Orlando, but the cop i spoke to said this was more then anything he had seen in his 21 years in Orlando. Oh, for you McCain fan(s) there was ONE person there to protest. He held a sign that said "Obama is bad for Isreal"

That sign doesn't sound much like a McCain supporter either, just someone who doesn't trust Obama! Sounds also like McCain fans did right by Obama over Obama's fans with McCain! That within itself tells a story!

FDR had big crowds too, so did Clinton, so did Kennedy, so did MLK... I didn't drink any kool-aid...unless it was snuck into my coke...I like how most Americans, also known as Obama voters, are getting involved with this race. its great to see more people coming out to the polls. This election will be the first to top votes for AMeican Idol!...Ok maybe not, but it will be a good thing because of how many people learned that we cannot let McCain win.

Its nice to support Obama or McCain but why doesnt someone tell me how are they going to pay for all of these promises. Rhetorical.
I know how, but just cam imagine people so blindly led around.
Cut this and tax that. Pick a party it doesnt matter.

crowd was 40k, if that. You libs are worse than my brother talking about the fish that got away; each time it's bigger. Besides, take out the illegals, underaged voters, and felons that Acorn hasn't gotten to, and you'd have about 1000.

Even FOX says Obama's crowd was over 50,000 in Orlando,
and I had already heard some were turned away.

We always look back in history and wonder How could rational people follow that guy? Didn't they see him for what he was? All the signs were there?
Hitler, Jones and the coolaid, manson, Karesh, The HaleBop comet guy. People were going through tough times and he promised to rescue them from their lives. Folks no one can rescue you from your life you have to live it - you have to work hard to make it - you have to do reasonable things like live within your means - gasp - did I actually say it.
If any leader offers to do more than offer to humbly serve you and do the best they can for the current situation - run like hell - especially if they promise to unveil some wonderful master plan as Obama has.

Well, if FOX said it, it has to be true. The news media would never lie. Just ask Dan Rather.

how do you turn away a crowd? That's like trying to herd cats...

Yeah, Plum, I imagine you were; you and all the other "victims," of your own circumstances...yeah, we should pay more for those that decide not to finish school, get a job, work for a living....shame on us!

What is crowd was, was rabble. I was there, just to see. And the actualy "quality," of the average Obama supporter, is "thug," plain and simple. You have some whites who are liberally minded because they've been raised with a silver spoon, or have never faced tough times...the remainder? Ignorant college kids (who rally for any opportunity) and the majority were racists thugs....WHICH CATEGORY do you fit in?

Even if there was 70,000 it took hillary and obama to get that, Palin got that by herself, Look people the only reason obama got the nomination is because the dems knew they couldn't beat McCain with the beotch, That is the ONLY reason the zebra has made it this far, can't wait till the 5th so the msm can label me and everyone else a racist when nobama loses.

In reference to TM6068 and hwayoutaline; First how can you judge someone you don't even know, for instance Plum19. I support him and I have been working cutting grass since I was 9. I started working with my father at 13 and became a master carpenter at age 18. I graduated High School with a 3.52 GPA. I had college offers but I was already a carpenter and still am after 39 years. I have at times been accused of being racist, although I have had many friends of different origins. It is the person that matters not their origin. Calling a person a Zebra is very offensive to me. I also have American Indian Heritage am I also a Zebra? All I know is this country is hurting and so am I. It's been totally down hill since 2000. So it is time for a long over due change.

I was Born in Burlington Iowa in Feb of 1986. I moved to Florida in 1992 and have been in the same town sence. I graduated from Pine Ridge High School in 2004. In High School, I found two passions. I fell in love with TV. Not, just the TV, but the idea to be on and make TV. I want to be a director. I go to the University of Central Florida. My other love that I came across at Pine Ridge High School is my future wife, Elizabeth. She is the sun in my day and the moon in my night. She is my best friend and the only woman on Earth that I ever want to be with. I grew up a NASCAR fan and it started two months after I was born when future NASCAR star Ernie Irvan was holding me at a local dirt track. The drivers I follow now are Jeremy Mayfield, Denny Hamlin, David Ragan, Jeff Burton, Tony Stewart, Casey Mears, Scott Riggs, Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Bobby Labonte, Clint Bowyer, Kurt Busch, Juan Pablo Montoya, Dave Blaney, Jamie McMurry, Scott Wimmer, Reed Sorenson, and A.J Allmindinger. I Think Dale Earnhardt Jr. is over rated. And I know Jeff Gordon isn't a fan friendly driver. My heros are Richard Petty, Ryan Cooper (The firefighter who ran into the Sanford houses in 2007) and Fireball Roberts. I also fell into the typical sports like football and baseball. I root for the Tampa Bay Bucs for the NFL season and for MLB I follow the Boston Red Sox. I Currently work at Lowe's in Orange City and love my job there as a Outside power equipment Associate. I'm treated well and the job is nice and relaxing. I plan on getting married really soon to Elizabeth. We set a date for March 6th 2010!!!!!
