Global Warming Is A Hoax! Repeat three times.

by phoenixJane from Arizona

Last Post 10 hours Ago

Special Interest Groups—SIGs—have been funding political initiatives since before the Boston Tea Party in this country. Arizona has had her fair share of SIGs funding voter initiatives and filing lawsuits over voter initiatives that legally passed (cough).

So what's the big deal when the Mormon group, LDS, adds a little muscle to the mix. I might not attend their meetings, but they did a great job in whatever help they gave to getting Prop 8 passed in California. That was very important legislation that needed to succeed.

The LDS is no different than any other non-profit. They are passionate about their beliefs, as are gays and la Raza. They get a special tax status to do their work, as does ACORN and the NEA. They get to tap smart people with tons of money, as does the Global Warming cartel. So there shouldn't be any hysteria over the fact that they put their money where their mouth is.

What the gay advocacy group, Californians Against Hate, is trying to do to the LDS amounts to a witch hunt. This is nothing but religion-hate. The LDS has done nothing that special interest groups haven't been doing throughout history. If its illegal for non-profits to fund political initiatives, G. Soros would be behind bars right now, but he's not. So, it must be okay for all non-profits to influence elections! If other faith-based SIGs were this conscientious and purposeful with their money, we wouldn't have such a broken-down mess of a society today.

I don't see Christians in the street acting disorderly and violent after losing elections. There are several different non-profit categories according to the IRS, they all should get audited to see if they are operating according to the rules.

It is stupid on anyone's part to do what some Gay people have done. I am Gay and proud of it. However I don't condone what the hate groups have done. It is wrong no matter who or what they are. Just plain wrong. Those that have done this will pay the price in some manner. Not for us to say or how it should be done. Even my own kind has no right to bash anyone just because it has been done before.

The homosexuals daily bash religious people for their beliefs. There are even non religious people that do not believe in homosexuality.
Speaking ones beliefs is not bashing what you do not believe in.

I don't care who believes in homosexuality. It is just plain wrong to hurt and destroy anyone and their property.

not all gays bash religiouse people, not all gays supported gay marriage, not all Christians voted against it, and not all gays protested and turned violent.

I completely agree that if any group, not just LDS, wants to fund an initiative or anything else for that matter, then so be it. I just sit and imagine though what good could have been done in our communities to help the less fortunate. They raised a helk of alot of money here in AZ too. But, it's their money and can spend it how they see fit. Who are we to judge.

Why do churches want to become limited liability non-profit corps, and then sign a deal with the devil (IRS) to become tax-exempt? (Well, we know why, follow the $$$).

But the entire concept is EVIL and ill-wrought.

It's a snare, and those that sign their compact with the devil, will find themselves victims of the IRS enforcers if they do not align themselves with the N.W.O. Their assets/lands will be confiscated if they do not tow the line.

Fair's fair, but we're not talking about fair people or entities. We're talking about a renegade, illegal arm of the govt.

In the future, gays WILL be allowed to do whatever they please and churches will not be allowed unless they're aligned with the PTB.

We can pontificate all we want, but things will never be fair. (And, I'm not sure that they should be, because I don't support IRS tax exemption or corps or LLC's anyway, in theory. You get what you contract for, IMO)

Above, on YouTube, is the movie, America: Freedom to Fascism.

IMO, it's a must-see for all Americans (and others in other nations, as well.)

Unfortunately, there is a business aspect to a church. If it were wrong for a business to legally work within the system, yet find a loophole (which, btw is legal) why should a church not take advantage OF THE SAME LOOPHOLE?

For those churches who ascribe to the Bible as their authority, it is irreconcilable for them to yoke themselves to the IRS/govt. and still pledge their allegiance to their true Master.

Why should they be taking loopholes at all?

BTW...the OT priesthood was govt. They collected taxes...the Levites were law enforcement. But, they collected commodities, not fiat currency. The whole notion of fiat currency is contrary to scripture ("unjust weights and measures"). So, it's an absurd subject because everyone is used to the status quo that shouldn't exist to begin with.

Guess people aren't willing to throw aside traditions of men to look for pure, unadulterated TRUTH.

PhoenixJane: Losing in election is not the same as losing your rights. People can not just vote to take away someones equal rights that they deserve. Being gay does not make you any less of an American. I am not gay, but I can clearly see what is fair. If the gays sucessfully lobbied to ban church broadcasts on television in disreguard to your freedom of speech, then there is no doubt you would be in the streets raising hell. The religious right uses the bible to justify their discrimination. They also used to keep women from having right to divorce, vote or own property. They used it to try to keep their slaves. They used it to try to keep African Americans from having equal rights also. There it no doubt gays will have there day, its a matter of when. The more they speak out against this illegal discrimination the sooner it will come. Just Imagine if all that money spent on that proposition went to food, medicine, science, education etc....Wouldn't the gays and christains both be better off?

hahahahaha

Goat, you really love to paint with a very broad brush. You should be a little bit more subtle in your hate!

Money spent on that proposition went to food, medicine, science, education, etc...you crack me up! A goat is a goat is a goat and will always be a goat. No one can accuse you of ambiguity!

Show me one sentence from above that shows hate. How is the truth hate? Hate is discriminating against American minorities based on a very flawed book that is filled with hate. Somehow because I want equal rights for all, I am the one hating.

A goat is a leader, unlike sheep or chickens. I think the goat would make a great Democratic Party mascott.

I'm not Mormon, but let them be! They are a minority that deserves protection also. But you don't feel that they are worthy. You pretend to be egalitarian, but you're not and reveal your bias in your writing. It's biased and hateful toward people of faith.

I think that the goat would make a fabulous mascot for the Dems! You should recommend it.

So, goat, this is the type of behavior you would prefer to defend over the action of moral people?

My daughter attended a Mormon run charter school and I was appalled at the propaganda they were teaching her about Gays, God and abortion. Further, the school demonstrated a shoddy education and high pregnancy rate.

I'm not gay and have been married for nearly 30 years. We raised successful college graduates who didn't participate in teen pregnancy, which is more than I can say for the religious right whose numbers indicate knocked up high school drop outs. What we define as, "girls without goals"

That taxpayer funded charter school didn't observe state/church separation or our family's tolerance for others' differences. After jr. high we promptly enrolled our daughter in a college prep with a large gay male population.

Not only did she get a better education but she remained a virgin throughout high school. Today she's a well adjusted heterosexual.

Moral behavior means raising respectable, tolerant children, gay or straight. Hate is not a family value.
