Global Warming Is A Hoax! Repeat three times.

The jet pack in this video uses hydrogen peroxide for fuel and is intended for the military, says the spokesman. So to all the tree huggers out there, how about it? Would you get one? Then you could relax.

Meanwhile we could get on with drilling in peace and really become energy independence. There's so much oil in this country, people may not want a jet pack.

Well i'm not a tree hugger but it looks fun!!! I'm a big supporter of alternative energy, That whole hydrogen deal got a bad rap from the hindenberg. Even though the germans found out shortly after that it wasn't the hydrogen that caused such a problem as it was the water proofing over the skin that later was used as solid rocket fuel. they just covered it up to save face.

Oh, I'm sure it's mad fun. So much fun that the average tree hugger might be distracted long enough for us to get all our oil wells online.

I would give it a try. I just might like it. It could be cheaper than an auto. On the other hand you might need a pilots license. I am sure somebody would spoil all the fun.

My experiences with gravity would make me reluctant to strap one on, I’d feel better after I got high enough to brake my neck. It’s the laying there and flopping that worries me!! Ha ha

Tch Tch, Kenny! You don't "brake" your neck. You brake your car to stop it. You "break" your neck, and I sincerely hope you never do!

I think they said that fuel pack was good for thirty seconds of flight, lots of fuel stops between home and work!

and weather you brake your neck or break your neck we understand its still broke or is that whether? lol

With only 30 seconds of flight time. you better plan your flight with great care. Also the flight that we saw only lasted for 21 seconds. The fuel used, hydrogen peroxide, is extremely volatile and dangerous to work with. I agree that this would be great for the tree buggers. It would certainly cull the herd.

Don't you think 30 seconds of flight is a minor hiccup? :)

I'm sure that's just a temporary circumstance. In fact, I vaguely remember another version of a jet pack using a completely different energy source.

Minor hiccup! I don`t know it seems to me, to make it worth while and affordable you might want to get some real distance from it, If the size of that jet pack only held thirty seconds worth of flight, then how big for say twenty minutes worth of air time. two or three duffal bag size containers.

the concept is futuristic, and all in all probabaly not really worth the effort. now a jet pack under the power of an "Adam" now your talkin a good concept. small jet pack light waight, great distance, wonder what Insurace would cost?

Someone somewhere is already trying to figure out how to put up a photo radar camera to catch someone acting inappropriately on their jet pack.....
