I recently read an article online about a man in Arizona who is jailed for having a contagious type of TB that is uncurible. He is not in an actual jail but in a locked isolation room on a ward in the hospital where criminals are treated. He is not allowed visitors, tv,radio, or even a mirror in his room. The only people he sees are his doctors. What is the point of this? How long can you legally keep someone locked up for what I see as not a very good reason? They say he is locked up because he didn't follow treatment by wearing a mask outside to protcet others from the disease. He claims no one explained the seriousness to him (he is only 26). My point is if we are locking people up for being sick where will it end? A man in California was arrested due to low blood sugar that the police mistook for intoxication. Four police had to restrain him and not one noticed his medic alert bracelet. I'm not sure what is going on but I think we need to slow down and take a good look at our intentions before we take any action.

Went to the car show this weekend. Wow! There were a lot of people there! I enjoyed looking at all the cars. It gave me a good idea of what I need to be looking for. My favorite part was the "untouchable" cars. You know the ones, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Astin Martin, etc. My all time favorite was the Rolls Royce. For a mere $333,0000 I could be riding in luxury. Nice fantasy!! What is your fantasy car??

I am thinking about buying a bird & want to know facts before I spend the money. I went to the pet store & was told that parakeets aren't really good pets. The birds they told me about cost anywhere from $150 up to $1000. Not really in my price range. Is this just a sale pitch to get me to spen my money or is it true that parakeets, lovebirds may be inexpensive but aren't the best choice when there are 2 dogs and 2 boys in the house? Any advise??
