OMG my coffee pot broke

Its offical my coffee pot broke the other day  and I am to lazy to purchase a new one because I know Christmas is around the corner.  HA.. I will not go with out my coffee.  I do not know about you all  but I have a camping perking coffee pot and yes it works wonders but I am missing the campfire, and the kick dupa breakfast included.  I wonder when your coffee pot breaks do you have a back up?

Perky has a broken Perkolater..... I too love the old style pots...... Mr coffee just isn't as good as the old style pots..... Sometimes progress is not such a good thing.........

my coffee pot is buried in a cabnit somewhere i dont do coffee, got enough bad habits... i dont drink anything hot

I have a back-up carafe, but the only back-up pot I have is one of those super big party type pots. There's an unopened jar of instant in the cabinet too!

I have a small Mr Coffee that only makes 4 cups which is = to 2 1/2 cups. LOL Where ya been Perky? We all miss ya girl

Perks got a job...I miss you all too very much. It was a joke though.. My 17 year was out looking for a job and the other 3 boys beat that I couldn't find a job before Zach..HA! Well Zach is still looking for a job and I got one with in 24 hours. YEE HAW!

Mom and dad have a Mr.Coffee but they also put cup water in Micowave for 40 secnds and then put coffee in it stir and drink...

Around here the power goes out if someone spits on the sidewalk. Will never go without a stovetop pot or a gas stove. But yeah, it is much better with the campfire!

I have an extra BUN and one of the $8 walmart one's they have at christmas. I have 3 or 4 stovetop one's one in the house 3 in the shed somewhere. Our water is so hard that if it is other than a free flow pot the pump's go out within a week. Your water cook's up before it get's to come out. Put 10 cup's in and get 4 cup's out. So BUN is the only thing that last here.
I am with mechany, Gas stove if the power goes out we can at least cook and perk our coffee. I perk a pot once in awhile just to smell it . OMG it smell's so good perking.

I had a coffee pot break on a drip coffee maker I had and found out that it was cheaper for me to buy a whole new unit then to just buy the replacement pot.
