It's about time......

   It's time to put the apathy to bed and start spreading the word before we are completely shut down. I've heard and read people say it's time for a write -in candidate for president, well it can't hurt! There's not one worth voting for that's in the running now, is there? So you won't be "wasting" a vote because we don't have one anyway! So when my ballot comes I will be writing in Fred Thompson's name. I feel he represents most closely what I want to hear from someone in government. Who knows, if I can convince 10 people and they convince 10 people and on and on, it CAN take off!! Don't be locked into a one party system that they are trying to force on us, stand up and be heard! Let them know we're truly pissed off and we are done with them NOT listening to us! After all it is OUR tax $dollars$ that they are playing with, and we're not getting what we're paying for!
   I was brought up believing you take care of yourself, pay your own way and things would work out.....well, now I can barely afford my medical insurance, car insurance, utility bills and food. Don't take me wrong, I'm not complaining because I am able to maintain, just not quite as comfortable as I would like. So as I go along and pay my own way, and I see these politicians using my tax dollars to give illegals free medical, low income housing, free education (that they don't take advantage of - 97% drop out after wasting space), I say it's time to clean the government house!
   It's time for a MAJOR change and we CAN DO IT if we stick together!!
Anybody for bringing back some kind of sanity to our country AND TRYING TO SAVE OUR SOVEREIGN STATES???

Well hello olgrama! If no one has given you a big hey here it is! Us grama's have been through a lot and learned a lot. So that give us some things to give our opinion on. The best part is we do not have to ask.
Politics huh? I that your first choice or have I missed something? I myself am not voting for Fred since this is really a time I think our Votes need to be thought and known about. Not that you are not aware. He was the nice and human one huh?
So well my 12 1/2 hour day is almost over and i am helping Grandkids with their Home Work. Stop by and say hi once in a while.

Well,Hello back to you scooch, thanks for the "hey". Yeh, politics....I wish I had paid closer attention in school (100 years ago) and really been a whiz in my government classes, cuz I do really find it "mind bending"! I just hope enough people start waking up before what we once knew is completely taken away from us! That's why I cannot vote for any of the "people" left on the ballot and by voting for Fred it DOES send a message. I am VERY afraid of each of the candidates who are trying to convince us with their forked tongues. Take care and love those Grandkids!! And Happy V day to you.

I'd like to say I'm enjoying my golden years and lovin' being a Grandma, however that would only be a partial truth, as these golden years are quickly tarnishing with the shape the country is in. I do love being a Grandma, however I worry daily about what will happen in their future. I will try to stay positive for them and keep them as safe as possible and strive for their happiness. It's nice to know there are still people out there that can think on their feet and have the sense to know something evil is going on, this blog is my salvation....I was beginning to think I was a nut with my thoughts-glad to know you're out there.
