No blogs about Molina?

I pray that he is okay.

This could be a very serious injury.

Anyone at the game?

They just had an update on the front page, mild concussion. I'm thankful as it could have been much worse. We tend to think our bodies are invinsible, but are indeed more fragile than most realize. I let the article scare me,lol. Heres to a speedy recovery : )

I just heard that on the new's. Looked bad. Glad it wasn't worse. Concussion is bad enough.

I was at the game. Such a big shock went through the crowd when he didn't get up. We had all been cheering for the out and then the hush feel across the crowd. I said a quick prayer and then just had my fingers crossed. As he left the field on the stretcher, all of us in the crowd started chanting "Yadi, Yadi, Yadi". We just wanted him to be able to hear that we were thinking about him. Glad to hear all should be well after a few days of rest.

Has anyone heard if the runner got an unsportsman like conduct called on him. The way he didn't even slide into home was ridiculuous!

The player will be investigated because of the outcome. They will do a bunch of slow motion reviews. Yes, Molina was turning his head into the runner but the base runner actually used his arms as a weapon therefore showing intent of some sort.

He could have easily slid into Molina thus tagging home. If you noticed after he assaulted Molina at home, he actually had to go back and tag home plate. So, his first motive was to hit Molina not tag home...hmmm looks like it's FINE TIME!

I thought it looked really dirty. I really think he needs some sort of discipline. I am not sure what the do in a case like this. Do you?

It was a bang bang play..... I saw no mal intent.... If there was then the benches would have emptied...... Just an accident.......

Molina is young and tough.... He will bounce back quick.....

I was always under the impression that a close play at the plate one should slide.
I really don't think the guy intended to knock Molina out like he did. I just think he should have slid into home.

I still think the biggest crucial piece of evidence is the guy put his elbow into Molina head area with no intention of tagging homeplate until after the fact. After thumping Molina he had to go back and find homeplate.

Yes to angiwab - sliding would have been more professional and intent would have been to score!
