What is it about the American people that makes them believe that the tube tells them everything they need to know? Now I'm not knocking local news because thats exactly what its good for, local news. But people don't seem to genuinely care about whats going on in the real world, specifically in politics.

Take the presidential race for example: People don't make an effort to find out about all the candidates. They see whats on TV and think "those are all of them!" In an age where the internet is widely available and widely used, you would think people would put some effort instead of making uneducated, half-baked decisions. Do they even realize how important this decision is? Peoples lives are at risk, the future of not only our nation but the world is at risk! If your one of these people, do yourself a favor and read up. If not for yourself, for the children.

Their future is at stake at this point, thats how bad things are right now. With these wars based on fabricated lies waging on, the environment falling apart, our nation on the verge of bankruptcy, the new additions to the so called patriot act, the "Thought Crime Bills", and the president trying to start yet another war with Iran, this is serious business! Possibly the most important presidential race in the history of our nation.

So many people THINK they know Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, John McCain, and Mike Huckabee so well. But how many of you honestly know the following candidates: Mike Gravel, Dennis Kucinich, or even Ron Paul? Hell, how about the Independents: Kent Mesplay, Kat Swift, Don J. Grundmann, Daniel Imperato, etc.? Even less likely!

Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich are two men who are being ignored by the media and by the Democratic party. The media tryed to eliminate Ron Paul but support behind him is too strong for him to be ignored at this point. Kucinich has just started being ignored and when he was in debates he got very little time to debate as did Gravel. But Gravel was pushed away way back in October. Its a real shame because Gravel did a lot of brave and daring things for the American people while he was in the senate and he has great, revolutionary planes in store for our country if he becomes president.

I ask you... no, I DARE you, to look up at least those three men: Mike Gravel, Dennis Kucinich, and Ron Paul. You can thank me later ;)
