It was in this mornings Inquirer that people are complaining about Comcast moving HBO into the digital area of their cable service in Philly, which would mean forcing people to take out Comcast's digital service,  $4.95 a month more  for each cable box in order to watch the Saprano's.  I live at the Jersey shore area and have Comcast of Toms River as my cable provider.  We have been complaining to Comcast also as they moved Philadelphia channels 10 and 57 into their digital service area.  When you call and complain, they tell you that the stations wanted them to do this, yet when you call the stations to complain about it, they telll you they had nothing to do with it.  Comcast is just blackmailing people into taking out their digital service at an extra cost, to watch programs which they have been receiving for years over the analog system.  It's time that the Government stops permitting Comcast from buying off all the other cable company's, and giving us other cable campany's to choose from.  There is no competition now, Comcast is a monopoly now, that does as it pleases.  Charging more and more everytime you turn around for less service and programing.  I will not take out their digital service,  I'm already thinking of putting an antenna back on my roof to be able to receive channels 10 and 57 again without paying their blackmail price for digital service.

I worked in Center City Philadelphia for over 30 years. I used I-95 to get to work. Between I-95 and Delaware Aves., during rush hours, the city will NEVER handle the extra traffic provided by the proposed locations of the two slot casino's. Adding new ramps from I-95 directly into the parking areas of these two casino's will do absolutely nothing, if the traffic is at a standstill on I-95. I can see people coming into the city to enjoy a day of gambling, getting stuck in traffic for a couple of hours, and never returning. The City of Philadelphia will never accomodate the extra traffic these proposed casinos will bring, as they can't handle the normal traffic at rush hour now.

I'm originally from the Fishtown section of Philadelphia. Still visit the old neighborhood a lot as my family is still in Fishtown and Port Richmond. I enjoy fishing, crabbing, and swimming, and gardening.
