To all you women out there when your doc says you have an upper resparitory infection dont believe him.
In 2006 I lost my wife while she was waiting in the doctors office for a cold.
She was ice cold to the touch sweating like crazy and when the nurse took her temp it was 94 her reply was the doc will be in shortly.
My wife had been told all she had was an upper resparitory infection by several doctors but they obiously didn't look further she had lost weight but never complained about a thing.
After the nurse (I am being kind calling this person a nurse more of a receptionist) left ,my wife sat on the table in the waiting room saying she was scared.
I rubbed her back telling her she was okay.
She asked to sit down and told me to loosen her bra and as soon as I did she fell backwards into her mothers arms.
The doc rushed in to no avail and the paramedics came ,no good she was gone in a heart beat.
She had a massive coronary according to the doctor,no autopsy was done.
So now after almost 3 years I hear about women being in danger of heart attacks.
Well I felt it was necessary to tell my story so others would not ignore symptoms.
I was left alone after almost 49 years and am getting back to a life of a diferent type noone to talk to at meal time but I do have a dog which has been a great help the gets me out for walks.
I go places my wife and I frequented shop the same stores but still have lost a mate.
Am dating occasionally but no longer interesed in Matrimony.
Please ladies if you feel like you are having a cold or things you ignored before please have the doc check your heart mine was broken but you can be cautious when something bothers you dont ignore what seems like flu symptoms have your doctor make sure thats all it is a cold but beware neglect can cost you your life.

Subject: Prophetic.
So what have we learned in 2 millennia? "The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance."

A MODERN PARABLE . . . . . . . . .
A Japanese company ( Toyota ) and an American company (Ford) decided to have a canoe race on the Missouri River . Both teams practiced long and hard to reach their peak performance before the race.
On the big day, the Japanese won by a mile.
The Americans, very discouraged and depressed, decided to investigate the reason for the crushing defeat. A management team made up of senior management was formed to investigate and recommend appropriate action.
Their conclusion was the Japanese had 8 people rowing and 1 person steering, while the American team had 8 people steering and 1 person rowing.
Feeling a deeper study was in order, American management hired a consulting company and paid them a large amount of money for a second opinion.
They advised, of course, that too many people were steering the boat, while not enough people were rowing.
Not sure of how to utilize that information, but wanting to prevent another loss to the Japanese, the rowing team's management structure was totally reorganized to 4 steering supervisors, 3 area steering superintendents, and 1 assistant superintendent steering manager.&n bsp;
They also implemented a new performance system that would give the 1 person rowing the boat greater incentive to work harder. It was called the 'Rowing Team Quality First Program,' with meetings, dinners, and free pens for the rower. There was discussion of getting new paddles, canoes, and other equipment, extra vacation days for practices and bonuses.
The next year the Japanese won by two miles.
Humiliated, the American management laid off the rower for poor performance, halted development of a new canoe, sold the paddles, and canceled all capital investments for new equipment. The money saved was distributed to the Senior Executives as bonuses and the next year's racing team was out-sourced to India
The End.
Here's something else to think about:
Ford has spent the last thirt y years moving all its factories out of the US , claiming they can't make money paying American wages.
TOYOTA has spent the last thirty years building more than a dozen plants inside the US. The last quarter's results:
TOYOTA makes 4 billion in profits while Ford racked up 9 billion in losses.
Ford folks are still scratching their heads.

STATEMENTS MADE BY THE LATE DR. ADRIAN ROGERS OF BELLEVUE BAPTIST CHURCH, M
EMPHIS , TENNESSEE :
YOU CANNOT LEGISLATE THE POOR INTO FREEDOM BY LEGISLATING THE WEALTHY OUT OF FREEDOM. WHAT ONE PERSON RECEIVES WITHOUT WORKING FOR, ANOTHER PERSON MUST WORK FOR WITHOUT RECEIVING.
THE GOVERNMENT CANNOT GIVE TO ANYBODY ANYTHING THAT THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT FIRST TAKE FROM SOMEBODY ELSE. WHEN HALF OF THE PEOPLE GET THE IDEA THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE TO WORK BECAUSE THE OTHER HALF IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF THEM, AND WHEN THE OTHER HALF GETS THE IDEA THAT IT DOES NO GOOD TO WORK BECAUSE SOMEBODY ELSE IS GOING TO GET WHAT THEY WORK FOR, THAT MY DEAR FRIEND, IS ABOUT THE END OF ANY NATION.
YOU CANNOT MULTIPLY WEALTH BY DIVIDING IT.

? When a company falls on difficult times, one of the things that seems to happen are they reduce their staff and workers. The remaining workers need to find ways to continue to do a good job or risk that their job would be eliminated as well. Wall street, and the media normally congratulate the CEO for making this type of "tough decision", and his board of directors gives him a big bonus.
I feel our government should not be immune from similar risks. I therefore am recommending the following cuts to be implemented by the next president elect.
Reduce the House of Representatives from the current 435 members to 218 members and Senate members from 100 to 50 (one per State). Also reduce remaining staff by 25%. Accomplish this over the next 8 years. (two steps / two elections) and of cour se this would require some redistricting.
Some yearly monetary gains include:
$44,108,400 for elimination of base pay for congress. (267 members X $165,200 pay / member / yr.)
$97,175,000 for elimination of the above people's staff. (estimate $1.3 Mil in staff per each member of the House, and $3 Mil in staff per each member of the Senat e every year)
$240,294 for the reduction in remaining staff by 25%.
$7,500,000,000 reduction in pork barrel ear-marks each year. (those members who's jobs are gone. Current estimates for total government pork earmarks are at $15 Billion / yr)
The remaining representatives would need to work smarter and would need to improve efficiencies. It might even be in their best interests to work together for the good of our country?
We may also expect that smaller committees might lead to a more efficient resolution of issues as well. It might even be easier to keep track of what your representative is doing.
Congress has more tools available to do their jobs than it had back in 1911 when the current number of representatives was established. (telephone, computers, cell phones to name a few)
Note: Congress did not hesitate to jump on a train for home this week when it was a holiday, when the nation needed a real fix to the economic problems. Also, we have 3 senators that have not been doing their jobs for the past 18+ months (on the campaign trail) and still they all have been accepting full pay. These facts alone support a reduction in senators &congress.
Summary of opportunity:
$ 44,108,400 reduction of congress members.
$282,100,000 for elimination of the reduced house member staff.
$150,000,000 for elimination of reduced senate member staff.
$ 59,675,000 for 25% reduction of staff for remaining house members.
$ 37,500,000 for 25% reduction of staff for remaining senate members.
$ 7,500,000,000 reduction in pork added to bills by the reduction of congress members.
< BR>
$ 8,073,383,400 per year, estimated total savings.
Big business does these types of cuts all the time.
IF you are not happy, I assume you know what to do.

This is a video of a new Ford plant in Brazil .
One look at this and you will be able to tell why there will probably never be another one built in the USA .
It will also point out why more assembly plants will go offshore. And... pay attention to the last few words about the U.A.W. It says a lot!

"SNOPES" VALIDATES THE BELOW FACTS:
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's home district includes San Francisco .
Star-Kist Tuna's headquarters are in San Francisco , Pelosi's home district.
Star-Kist is owned by Del Monte Foods and is a major contributor to Pelosi.
Star-Kist is the major employer in American Samoa employing 75% of the Samoan work force.
Paul Pelosi, Nancy 's husband, owns $17 million dollars of Star-Kist stock.
In January, 2007 when the minimum wage was increased from $5.15 to $7.25, Pelosi had American Samoa exempted from the increase so Del Monte would not have to pay the higher wage. This would make Del Monte products less expensive than their competition's.
Last week when the huge bailout bill was passed, Pelosi added an earmark to the final bill adding $33 million dollars for an 'economic development credit in American Samoa '.
Pelosi has called the Bush Administration "CORRUPT" ? ?
How do you spell "HYPOCRISY" ? ?

Maybe we need to check over our historic past to clean up the present and pray for a good future. Here's a good forward from the archives of the past. Have a blessed week.
Thomas Jefferson Quotes
Jefferson in some cases could be called a prophet.
When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe. Thomas Jefferson
The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not. Thomas Jefferson
It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world. Thomas Jefferson
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. Thomas Jefferson
My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government. Thomas Jefferson
No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. Thomas Jefferson
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government. Thomas Jefferson
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. Thomas Jefferson
To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical. Thomas Jefferson
Very Interesting Quote
In light of the present financial crisis, it's interesting to read what Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:
'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.

Absolutely The Funniest Joke Ever !
. . . ON US
Does anybody out there have any memory of the reason given
for the establishment of the DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY during the
Carter Administration? Anybody? Anything? No?
Didn't think so.
Bottom line . . we've spent several hundred billion
dollars in support of an agency the reason for which not one
person who reads this can remember.
Ready? It was very simple, and at the time everybody
thought it very appropriate.
The Department of Energy was instituted 8-04-1977 TO LESSEN
OUR DEPENDENCE ON FOREIGN OIL. HEY, PRETTY EFFICIENT, HUH?
AND NOW IT'S 2008, 31 YEARS LATER, AND THE BUDGET FOR
THIS NECESSARY DEPARTMENT IS AT $24.2 BI LLION A YEAR, THEY
HAVE 16,000 FEDERAL EMPLOYEES, AND APPROXIMATELY 100,000
CONTRACT EMPLOYEES AND LOOK AT THE JOB THEY HAVE DONE!
THIS IS WHERE YOU SLAP YOUR FOREHEAD AND SAY 'WHAT WAS I THINKING?'
Ah yes, good ole bureaucracy. And now we are going to turn the Banking system over to them? God Help us.

With so much campaigning going on and popping up during my tv shows I have decided to watch them with the tv muted that way I wont hear the constant bablling by both parties.
Its sort of like a peaceful way to see stuff without any breaking news also which is very annoying.
Only 4 more days and I can go back to my normal viewing with sound right now its like early movie days the talkies without sound!!
My way of putting a gag on the crazed commercials!!

I'm surprised to see him coming out he is just doing what Hillary told him to do so she can keep the clinton name in the news again.
The consistent bombarding of one commercila after the other on all stations including my car radio ther has been disrecpect mfor our dily lives having to have our leisure viewing interuppted by political harping and cluttering the airways with hate lies statements of each party saying what we want to haer but knowing the words are just that JUST WORDS!!!!!!

,
Bottom of various issues.
I can personally vouch for that complaint.
A few months ago, when my State Farm agent Bud Gregg in Mandeville
hoisted a political sign referencing Barack Obama and made a big splash across
the Internet, 'supposedly' the Mikkelson's claim to have researched
this issue before posting their findings on snopes.com. In their statement
they claimed the corporate office of State Farm pressured Gregg into
taking down the sign, when in fact nothing of the sort 'ever' took place.
I personally contacted David Mikkelson (and he replied back to me)
thinking he would want to get to the bottomof this and I gave him Bud Gregg's
contact phone numbers - and Bud was going to give him phone numbers to the
big exec's at State Farm in Illinois who would have been willing to
speak with him about it. He never called Bud. In fact, I learned from
Bud Gregg no one from snopes.com ever contacted anyone with State Farm. Yet,
snopes.com issued a statement as the 'final factual word' on the issue as if
they did all their homework and got to the bottom of things - not!
Then it has been learned the Mikkelson's are very
Democratic (party) and extremely liberal. As we all now know from this
presidential election, liberals have a purpose agenda to discredit anything that
appears to be conservative. There has been much criticism lately over the
Internet with people pointing out the Mikkelson's liberalism revealing itself
in their website findings. Gee, what a shock?
So, I say this now to everyone who goes to www.snopes.com to get
what they think to be the bottom line facts...'proceed with caution.' Take
what it says at face value and nothing more. Use it only to lead you to
their references where you can link to and read the sources for
yourself. Plus, you can always google a subject and do the research yourself. It
now seems apparent that's all the Mikkelson's do. After all, I can personally
vouch from my own experience for their 'not' fully looking into things.
For the past few years www.snopes.com has positioned itself, or
others have labeled it, as the 'tell all final word' on any comment, claim and
email.
But for several years people tried to find out who exactly was
behind snopes.com. Only recently did Wikipedia get to the bottom of it - kinda
makes you wonder what they were hiding. Well, finally we know. It
is run by a husband and wife team - that's right, no big office of
investigators and researchers, no team of lawyers. It's just a mom-and-pop
operation that began as a hobby.
David and Barbara Mikkelson in the San Fernando Valley of California
started the Website about 13 years ago - and they have no formal background
or experience in investigative research. After a few years it gained
popularity believing it to be unbiased and neutral, but over the
past couple of years people started asking questions who was behind it and did
they have a selfish motivation? The reason for the questions - or skepticims
- is a result of snopes.com claiming to have the bottom line facts to
certain questions or issue when in fact they have been proven wrong. Also,
There were criticisms the Mikkelsons were not really investigating and getting to the 'true'
